I got an admission and I have paid for my F1 visa fee but the dates available are too far. My start date is August 25th.

Please what should I do??

Defer your admission is my pick, but " never say never", you may pick the too far date then request for expedite appointment.

NB: You need approximately 4 wks to assimilate yourself with anything f1 mock practise or info. Its better to wait and prepare than to rush and fail. 👍

Pick any available date and request expedite, keep checking the calendar, some random dates still get released. It is luck, but you can still make it, deferring is a last option

I missed my first appointment due to DS-160 ISSUES and there are no dates to shedule another appointment, Can i schedule an expedite appointment with my former appointment date since I can see the create emergency button or I need to reschedule another appointment first?

Helping someone with booking and the ONLY date that has been showing up on his end for the past 10hrs is Dec 29 2026. Is that only him or is anyone else seeing this? What's strange isnt the fact that the date is far away, it's that it's the ONLY date that has been showing up for over 10 hrs.

Just try.. explain your situation, worst they can say is no...the issue now is from what i've heard, they are not responding to expedited requests.

You are not serious you don't want to write GRE or any form of test, yet you want not only a full funding but you want your i-20 to come with zero deficit. If you donot have money is it most for u go to America. Look at me am married with kids, have a house, a car and own few landed property don't be lazy Nigeria youth.

Please, has anyone gone for interview at the Lagos consulate recently? . Is there any place to keep phones inside the consulate? Cos I’m going alone and I have to take my phone along so I can book a ride back for the hotel. Thank you.

Immediately after you are called inside, the officers will ask you to drop your belongings with the man before they proceed to search you."just 500 naira

Yes there is a lockers where you can keep your bags ,he will be the one to give you key to the locker i think
