I think you have answered your question by yourself
i ask how often because I am in shock a problem. I change shock like every 2 months because I live in a terrible location. New shock carry me at most 2-3 months. While told carry me for just a 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Mind you I don’t drive every day.

Once a shock is not as it use to be. I don’t enjoy driving in terrible road. The funny thing is when they check the shock they will say it’s still ok. But me that is driving it knows it’s not.

Hi Guys, I have a 2005 Honda Accord that’s been parked for about two years. It had a few issues back then; major one delay when accelerating; though it drives fine once it picks up speed and then sudden high fuel consumption after taking it for repairs from some mechanic.
I returned to lagos and took it for a quick drive where they could scan it and noticed the 'D' (Drive) light started blinking on my way home. It would rev high and stay that way. I’ve attached the fault codes below. The AC also stopped working after it overheated while someone else was using it when i was away.
I know little to nothing about cars and honestly don’t have the time to sit with a mechanic because of work, so I’m really hoping to hand it over to someone trustworthy who can take care of all these plus other minor issues.
Please any reliable recommendations?

Scan the car. The gear might be waving U goodbye in advance. The vibration? Maybe an illegal compressor has been installed in the car or fuel system is clogged.

Check all your rubber bushings as well. Smooth ride does not depend on shocks alone. I'm sure your bad roads has send all the bushings in your car to oblivion.

Before you touch your gearbox or your engine mounts, what is your idle RPM with AC off and with AC on?

Last time I experienced something like that, it was a loose battery head connection that keeps shorting.
Negative wire was frayed and had to strengthen it.

Loose battery terminal. Check it and tighten it. Or replace the terminal.

Hi guys, I just got a tokunbo civic 2011, a few issues I've observed is the left headlights are not working at all, the right headlights only work on high beam, interior light not working, horn is not working. Downstream oxygen sensor is bad. Then the cars vibration is a bit higher than usual. Then in the engine I noticed that the air flow intake hose is missing from the air filter box. The space for the tube is just open. Please who knows any reliable mechanic and electrician that is experienced in Honda civic in Lagos, please i don't want to give dem kazeem to scatter the motor for me. Thank you

Good evening, Seniors.

I hail everyone.

Please, my Honda Accord 2008 started making a sound like a dragging sound when I'm driving. Even when I'm not applying the Brake, the sound keeps coming like something is dragging under my car.

What is the likely issue please? Has anyone encountered this before. I want to have an idea of the issue before I take the car to a mechanic.

Thank you Sirs.
Happened to me, same car. It was a bad caliper holding the brake disc. Servicing didn't do justice, had to replace the caliper and disc.

Greetings Luvinhubby.
Please how do I go about fixing this?
2003 honda pilot: the alternator has 2 bolts connected to it. The down one (size 14), which goes into the engine block has damaged, after constant breaking of bolt and drilling the bolts out.

The last one happened yesterday and now, the part to tight it in on the engine is gone. They suggest I change the engine. Gambling to get only the engine block was not advised according to them.

What do you think?

How is he supposed to know the particular light you are talking about? You know no one is a magician here, right?
At least, take a picture of you don't know the name of the light.

Get moderate pads to put on the rear and font Springs. You can also raise it a little by changing your Rim and tyre sizes. As for me, I chosed the pad option

This is not just mud. There significant oil leak from that engine, mostly from the valve cover. This is a very unhappy engine.

As for your question, someone has already answered it.

I use 05 civic. I changed my back shocks to that of CR-V. I could pass anywhere SUV pass. But the problem is that it put too much pressure on the front shocks. I've gone back to using the normal shocks but I'm now suffering bad roads.

If you always carry passengers or loads, consider using CR-V shocks

I use a 2005 Honda Civic, anytime I put on the AC I feel vibration on the steering and throttle pedal thereby making it difficult to use on bad road. What could be the problem?

Hello house

Please my check engine light started flashing and engine was rough idling as i was coming home today.

Scanned it and i saw P0303 cylinder 3 misfire
I know i have to check the coil especially on cylinder 3 because my mech just changed the 4 plugs during my last service last month.

Please what else should i look out for when checking tomorrow... Thanks

Easy diagnosis.

Switch coil 3 to another cylinder, if still same, switch the plugs. If the error moves from 3 to another cylinder, the coil or plugs is faulty. If it stays in cylinder 3, that cylinder has an issue, could be compression or overheating caused by gasket etc.

Yes injectors have settings, check the exhaust if there is black smoke coming out from over dumping of fuel which results in incomplete combustion.
