A 41-Year-Old Woman was found dead at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM, Prayer City, located along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, in a suspected case of suicide.

The incident occurred on Friday.

The deceased, identified as Benita Lurk Ikuenobe, was found unresponsive inside the main auditorium of the worship centre. The disturbing discovery was reported by the church’s Chief Security Officer, Esiere Ekikere, who revealed that he received an emergency call around 7:20 a.m., alerting him to an unconscious woman lying on the auditorium floor.

Upon reaching the location, Ekikere said he found the woman motionless, with an empty bottle of a suspected toxic substance, believed to be Sniper, beside her. The incident was immediately reported to the police.

Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and carried out preliminary documentation, including photographing the area for investigative purposes.

The body was subsequently evacuated and deposited at Real Divine Hospital morgue, where an autopsy is expected to be conducted to confirm the exact cause of death.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.

They could have been placed beside her after she died, and the police doing the "preliminary documentations" are most likely the ones attached to the church, in which case they'll be receiving monthly stipends from the church.
The church may not have a hand in her death, but will most likely want to do everything to make it look like a suicide after finding her dead.

Shine your eyes well before you go to any religious centre.i am not saying you shouldn't go to church. I am a product of God's mercies, love and favor but if you have mental or psychological issues bordering on depression or psychosis go see a mental therapist while praying stop sleeping in church

Let autopsy be done, to know the real cause of death, the issue of finding sniper by her side is not tenable.

If she possible dies of suicide she won't carry evidence along with her to that place and besides poison don't kill instantly.

A real forensic police investigation should be carried out may be could be a set up to robe someone in the case or the person died a natural cause.

She may have ran to Church in desperation instead of running to the hospital. May be she didn't have money for hospital or the hospital couldn't sort her issues.

No, suicide is never encouraged no matter how difficult the problem.

With God nothing shall be impossible.

Probably all hope lost and decided to end it in the presence of her maker.

A lot of things we pray for in Nigeria are the responsibility of the government not God.
