The west is arrogant, they were shocked a Muslim country or non white country could make hypersonic missiles, and high end centrifuges.
America spent tens of billions still only has a few workable prototypes for hypersonic while Russians are kings of air defense not the Swiss cheese Dome.

I don’t understand what people actually mean when they say Iranian drones. The technology inside the current Russian drone is completely different from Iranian drones. It’s inevitable that most suicide drones that go long distances will look similar the same way aeroplanes do.

What a cliche!! that Nigeria has so many talented "military experts" languishing on a faceless forum when they could be useful in the battle against insurgency in the north.

To our "military experts", your decade of international military experience and expertise on military matters can help the Nigerian military solve her local military "Gordian knot" in the north.

nobody with a good understanding of geopolitics would have thought that's what they meant.

The fundamental issues in Syria remain in place. They are not singing Kumbaya now.

Yes, it’s called Iranian drones due to fact that it was make popular by Iran.
Russia military modified and upgraded now better which makes it even more difficult to Ukraine military.
Those drones have new name by Russia military but the design is based on Iranian drones.

The initial tech all belonged to Iran military.
It will still be called Iranian drones same way many China military tech are called Russian tech due to the design even if they have nothing to do with Russia tech again.

You do recall Bayraktars that were billed as game changers right, because of their apparent okay performance in the Armenia war?

Turkey, Israel, the US and others have their variants of suicide/one-way/loitering drones.
In fact, the Israelis got their tech from the South Africans as far back as the 1980s.
Look up the IAI Harpy and it suspiciously looks like a variation of the Shahed.

Iran perfected the weapon system, solved the kinks, and engineered it for cost-effective mass production.
This is why the US is copying the Shaheds.
They've had access to Shahed-style drone tech for almost four decades.
But Iran solved the trifecta: effectiveness, cheap, and mass-produced.

We've had an outline of what tablets should be like for almost a century.
We had earlier forms/prototypes of it from Europe and some American companies.
Steve Jobs/Apple perfected it.
And today, most tablets have iPad DNA.

BTW, the F-35B as you say is inspired by Russian tech.
All missiles have pointy heads for aerodynamic reasons. All air defense launchers are tubes.
But we know who to give flowers when we talk about hypersonic missiles and exceptional air defense.

Technologically, a sanction-free Iran will go toe to toe with the likes of France, Spain, UK (in decline), and Italy.
And be a hair breadth behind Germany.
