"It's the turn of the South. PDP should zone the ticket to Southwest. Bala Mohammed must step down for Seyi Makinde." - Gbatists |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by mrvitalis(m): 9:58am On Jul 21, 2025 |
It would be shameless if PDP zones their ticket to the North in 2027 It must be zoned to the South... South South or South West |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by AMINDA: 10:22am On Jul 21, 2025 |
mrvitalis:Exactly. In trying to be smart, Wike and Tinubu have now boxed themselves into a corner. A Northerner clinching the PDP ticket automatically kills any agitation for power to remain in the South. On the other hand, a Southwesterner clinching the ticket means even less votes for Tinubu. Double jeopardy for the master strategist. APC and Wike proxies should tone down on the Southern agitation in order not to make this election a North-South supremacy battle because Tinubu will lose handsomely if that be the case. The North has the advantage of numbers. |

Pdp would likely adopt president Tinubu for the 2027 election |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by Ofunaofu: 10:30am On Jul 21, 2025 |
The PDP must zone the presidential ticket to the South. Seyi Makinde and Wike should contest it between themselves. Whoever emerges should be supported by all especially by those who have been insisting and clamouring for the PDP presidential ticket to go to the South. At the very least, this would further divide Tinubu's southern votes especially now that his over 5 million northern votes are gone, gone for good. |

helinues:See warped thinking ... so you think PDP will rather coalesce with APCto support Tinubu that destroyed the party than its like minded ADC? Bala is just marking time in PDP, his mentor has already decamped to ADC. |

Saraki should be the flagbearer anything aside that is rubbish. |

Bobloco:I won't be surprised if Kwakwanso move to PDP and secure PDP presidential ticket in order to clip Atiku's chances in the North at the coming presidential poll. Politics is arithmetics, you don't use emotions. |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by sleek214(m): 10:57am On Jul 21, 2025 |
PDP is not a political party, they should forget about 2027. PDP won't see 4th in next elections irrespective of who they give their tickets... ADC is the new bride in town |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by onuman: 10:58am On Jul 21, 2025 |
Atiku Abubakar will return to PDP after 2027 loss of presidential election. Na today. Since 1992. |

sleek214:Atiku had to run away from PDP when Jonathan clinched the ticket. But Kachikwu won't run away from Atiku in ADC so don't think it is a smooth ride. |

Of all the Governors and people that want to contest under PDP, Bauchi state governor is among. I laugh on Chapters and verses. Wike will just allow him waste his money and send him packing |

AMINDA:Emeka , don’t waste these tears yet because you go still deliver enough tears after Atiku is properly retired in 2027 |

Wike has been silence since ADC creation, his loquacious attitude has been quelled and I think he's no more useful to Tinubu. He didn't see that coming, PDP will soon retire like other parties did and everything comes and go. Wike will have no upper hand in politics or the upcoming election because the main player that is keeping him alive is no more there to swell his head. That ADC move proved that he is not politically intellect. |

You people will end up indirectly supporting Tinubu. The only viable option is to back coalition candidate. |
| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by WesleyPepper: 11:04am On Jul 21, 2025 |
AMINDA:You must learn the lesson from Prof Tinubu by fire by force . The PDP ticket would go to a southerner for sure to further isolate your Atiku if he eventually clinches the ADC ticket . Tinubu would be returned in 2027 no doubt about that. In sha Allah, by 2031 we would support Obi or any other southerner since we’ve all agreed there’s nothing like zoning again . May Almighty Allah keep our souls till then |

| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by AMINDA: 11:05am On Jul 21, 2025 |
Haydens:Exactly. He now has no discussion point again otherwise, he would have organised another media chat. His attempt to attack Peter Obi also backfired. He even had to pathetically show his hand by taking pictures with Abure just to show Tinubu he may still be relevant. Tinubu is allegedly beginning to breathe down his neck and asking questions about the recently uncovered land scandal. |

| Re: Race To 2027: PDP’s Flagbearer Battle Begins After Atiku’s Exit by opes: 11:09am On Jul 21, 2025 |
AMINDA:Just like ADC, no automatic ticket for aspirants, tickets will be won from primary election. Atiku votes must be divided in the North, "Political games" will be played for Bala or Saraki to get the ticket. If Obi should contest, then I doubt if Atiku will get 25% requirements from 2/3 of the 36 states. |

Forget all these guys, they will all be told to step down for Tinubu, they are just acting a written script by Wike. |

opes:Atiku won Osun, Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom in 2023 when the agitation for Southern presidency was more stronger than it is now. Just to jog your memory. In 2027, Atiku will have more stronger grip on the North than Tinubu will have on the South. |

AMINDA:Eggzactly, that land scandal too left a questionable remark on him, he'll have a lot of questions to answer if any party other than A.P.C wins. He wants to outshine his master. |

If Seyi wins the Presidential ticket of the PDP,of course he wont win the Presidency, but he will only cut through Tinubu's votes in the SW. He will win Oyo and maybe one other State together with the SW voters that are currently dillisioned with Tinubu Like I said in previous posts,I still do not see Tinubu's parthway to the Presidency in 2027. Except things get better in the country |
