The deal is simple : Atiku takes control of the entire party structure to ensure a single term for Obi while Obi takes the party ticket and runs for the presidency with any VP chosen by the North block

We should be more interested in what the ADC constitution says about eligibility, and not what Bolaji Abdullahi is saying. Its cool if anything like 'Special Waiver' is there. This is to avoid litigation.

Atiku is the one with pride here, his dollar politicking has blinded his sense of reasoning. He could have stepped down since 2023 allowing Obi run on PDP platform knowing fully well that people are already agitating for a southern presidency.

Obi agreed to be Atiku's running mate in 2019 because it was the turn of the north.

Obi contested in 2023 and will contest in 2027 for the president cos it is turn for the south.

I guess a lot of you gen-zs started following politics in the last election. For your information, Atiku is not eligible to be vice-president for a 3rd term after being one between 1999-2007 even if he wanted to which does not even make sense in anyway.

Obi has not even joined politics when Atiku first contested for SDP presidential primaries in 1993.

You guys are not even begging him to step down for Obi in order to assume a godfather status in ADC but to even suggest a whole Waziri who is head and shoulders above Obi politically deputising him is the height of tomfoolery.

You guys could as well suggest Obasanjo or Goodluck Jonathan to deputise Obi then. What an incredible level of disrespect!
