Don't you think Datti openly saying inec recognize abures faction is an attack on obi? as it is now obi and otti are in one faction while datti in another.
Datti is ambitious too and need the LP ticket and abure seem to favor him over obi.

If obi loses ADC primaries it's either he agrees to be VP or look for another party because by then datti would have been a done deal.

Peter Obi has clearly seen the handwriting on the wall in the coalition, so he's sent Datti to beg Abure through the back door. Having also realized that Abure is INEC recognized Chairman of LP, he can't afford to lose both ways. Datti will be the placeholder for Peter Obi until he finally reconcile all factions. What Datti did was not wrong at all, there's need to make peace all round. If he is coming from LP as a leader in there and Obi who is still in Labour party finally makes good relationship with the ADC, then it's a win win for them.

I actually think that is the game plan for PO. He needs to keep everyone guessing and will use it as bargaining chip, If ADC knows PO has option of contesting in another party they won't be so quick to throw him under the bus and if he keeps his chances of contesting only with ADC those kurukere men can play him.

How many people attended their faction NEC meeting? Name a notable figure in that meeting apart from Datti who obviously came strike reconciliation notes. Unfortunately, Abure succeeded 8n dismantling the few structures he built.

He knows his northerners can't give obi the ADC ticket but obidients who are political neophytes will always think otherwise. Very soon, they will start to insult him cos they don't like truth. Datti was a senator and so he knows the game even better than obi who rode on ojukwu's popularity to become governor. When the tide was against him for reelection, ojukwu have to beg Anambaraians with giant sign post, strategically in some places, raising obi hand and with the caption, my last wish. Same man igbos want to force on Nigerians as the best after fried rice and chicken. It shall not be well with anyone who insulted obi for poor performance and later support him to be president of Nigeria. He even shared 400 cars for some igwes.

Three Major Presidential candidate gunning for it at last!

Obidients who are mostly igbos are just too emotional. Politics don't resolve around that. Atiku will definitely be the ADC candidate. Obi has now realize that and that is why he keep saying, he is still a member of labour party. Datti identifying with Abure who has been recognized as the authentic chairman, is a calculated move. They have endorsed him for the presidential candidate but he will end up stepping down for obi and run as his vice again. He is clamouring for reconciliation so that it will be easy for obi to come back.
