Prophet Emmanuel Chinonso, founder of Mountain of Grace and Glory Ministries (Action God Family), blasted the Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo for confusing ₦1.5 million with ₦15 million—then allegedly threatening Peter Obi during a rally. Okpebholo said: Obi cannot just come into Edo without informing me. His security will not be guaranteed. If anything happens to him here, he will have himself to blame. I’m not joking.” This came after Obi quietly visited the state and donated ₦15 million to support nursing students. Governor Okpebholo, while trying to downplay the visit, mistakenly referred to the ₦15 million donation as ₦1.5 million in public commentary—an error that further fueled criticism. in a viral video. He mocked the governor for confusing ₦1.5 million with ₦15 million, asking how someone that poor with figures could threaten a respected figure like Peter Obi “Imagine not knowing the difference between ₦1.5 million and ₦15 million. That’s embarrassing for a governor.” "Mr. Governor, let me advise you for free today," he said. "Everyone in Nigeria knows who truly won that election. You became governor not by vote, but by Supreme Court judgment. You were appointed by the court, not elected by the people." He urged the governor to focus on winning the hearts of the Edo people instead of engaging in political fights. "Do first things first – win the minds of the Edo people. That's how you build real power. Don't use force or pride. Serve the people." On the alleged threat to Peter Obi, he declared: "You said if Peter Obi enters Edo without your permission, his safety isn't guaranteed? You don't own the state. Stop using your office to fight someone who clearly has more followers than you in Edo." He could have made his point without attacking the person of obi whom he has no personal beef with.. imagine mocking the governor for donating money in his state ..saying he thought the man said he doesn't give money.
