Why will I criticize someone that didn't ask me to go and verify his claims? Obi asked us to go and verify na and what we found out were shocking grin
So he asked you to go and verify is why you criticize him more than the man who is president 😁.

Lmao.. God is amazing 😁

He wants to support Tinubu without having to deal with the drug criminal or certificate forger tag.

So he defends his policies but claims to be on the fence.

Onye phensic 😂
He's a full-blown cornvict, playing neutral just happens to be his self-appointed role in the cult. We have quite a few of them like that.

What kind of embarrassment is this ffs?

It'll only get worse going forward, if they're now accusing him of causing a stampede, I hope they don't go and murder innocent civilians just to prove that there was a dead person(s) when he came visiting..
Old man disgracing his lineage just for loyalties

RESOLUTION ADOPTED AT THE END OF THE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (NEC) OF LABOUR PARTY HELD ON MONDAY 21st JULY 2025 AT THE NATIONAL SECRETARIAT UTAKO, ABUJA AT 02:00 PM.
The NEC Meeting was attended by members of the National Working Committee, National officers of the party, Sen. Datti Baba-Ahmed, Vice Presidential candidate of the 2023 General Election, State Chairmen, and Stakeholders of the party and other co-opted members of the National Executive Council as provided by Article 13 (A) of the Party Constitution.
At the end of the meeting, the following resolutions were approved and adopted;
1. The NEC in session after reviewing the purported NEC meeting held in Transcorp on Friday, the 18th of July 2025, condemned the conveners of the meetings and thereafter disassociate itself from the outcome of the so-called NEC meeting where they renamed their illegal Caretaker Committee set up in Umuahia last year as Interim National Working Committee.
2. NEC notes that no matter how illegality is decorated it can not be legal. Renaming the Caretaker Committee, Interim NWC does not remove its illegality.
3. This sitting contravenes the Party’s Constitution. Article 14 (4) (B) gives powers to call meetings only to the National Secretary with the approval of National Chairman. The meeting also contravenes the provisions of Section 82 (1) (2) (a) of the Electoral Act 2022 which provides as follows:
82 (1) Every registered political party shall give the Commission at least 21 days’ notice of any Convention, Congress, Conference or meeting convened for the purpose of ‘’merger’’ and electing members of its executive committees, other governing bodies, or nominating candidates for any of the elective offices specified under this Act. Such notice must be given by the National Chairman and Secretary of the Party.
(2) The Commission may, with or without prior notice to the political party attend and observe any convention, congress, conference or meeting which is convened by a political party for the purpose of (a) electing members of its executive committees or other governing bodies
4. NEC in session consequently disassociating itself from the meeting and its outcomes.
5. NEC in session notes that there is no vacuum in the leadership of the Party. The Party has conducted its National Convention in line with the party Constitution, the Electoral Act and Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on 27th March, 2024 at Nnewi Anambra State which has been validated by the Supreme Court in its Judgment of the 4th April 2025.
Consequently, NEC in session therefore calls on the Honourable Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu to comply with the Supreme Court Judgment, all the legal and other opinions before him.
On the basis of the foregoing, therefore, NEC in session hereby call on all teeming members, supporters, and members of the general public to kindly disregard the so-called meeting and its outcome.
6. NEC in session hereby reimpose confidence in the leadership of Barr. Julius Abure led National Working Committee and urge all Party members to continue to respect the leadership of the party and obey its lawful directives.
7. NEC in session also approved the conduct of State, Local Government, and Ward Congress as may be scheduled by the National Working Committee in line with the party’s Constitution and other Extant laws.
8. NEC in session reiterates that Labour Party will not be part of any coalition for the 2027 general election. NEC believes that the coalition of 2023 is bigger than any other coalition. we will therefore rebuild, reconcile, and consolidate the gains of the 2023 general election. Labour Party is distinct in terms of its ideology, programs, philosophy, and manifestos, which has the answers to the socio-economic challenges in Nigeria. We can therefore not be tempted by joining any politically spent forces that have hitherto, squandered the resources and opportunity of the Nation.
9. NEC in session commends Sen. Datti Baba-Ahmed for identifying with the leadership and declaring his interest for the 2027 general election.

If your link is recent/ real, then....

Edo State government will sanction/ punish the school involved...Just watch!

Honestly, irrespective of your political affiliation, the tone by the Edo State government was wrong. Even if the idea behind it is to guarantee his safety, there are better ways to approach and address that issue.

Publicly warning him, worsestill, in a spiteful tone only makes the Edo State government and by extension APC look bad and leaves a bad taste. You can play politics and still look good doing it. Whatever happened to diplomacy in politics?

They have just given him more publicity, especially in a state where he is very strong.

Past performance is key. I looked at Tinubu's performance as Governor compared to Obi's, no sane person after DD, will go with Obi. I am not sure Tinubu was cursed like Anambra people did to Obi when he was Governor.

Lecturers of Anambra State University went on 6 months strike. Doctors went on 13 months strike. He used teargas on protesting market women and students after increasing their taxes and school fees. Rendered LGAs dormant for 7+ years. The red flags are many like we are in a construction site.

Hmmm. With $2m in Nigeria you can live the sort of life people worth $200m in the US are living.

Maybe because by default I see all Naija politicians as the same, so when one asked me to go and verify it raised my hope, only to meet disappointment.

Here in Nigeria, $2 million puts you in god mode. You’re hiring staff, living in a mansion in a high brow area, riding in a convoy with drivers, security, and assistants. You eat at the “best” places, travel when you want, get VIP treatment everywhere, and flex on half the country without breaking a sweat.

Meanwhile, in the US, $200m still comes with rules. Taxes will eat a chunk. Labor is expensive. Luxury has boundaries. Privacy is respected, and they don't worship money excessively the way we do here. You’re rich, yes, but you’re not royalty.

Here, wealth bends the system in your favor. In the US, wealth still follows the system. That’s the difference. So yeah, $2M in Nigeria can move as loud as $200m in the US, because here, money doesn’t just buy comfort, it buys power, attention, and untouchability (It all depends on if you know how to use the money though. Like I always say, having money and knowing how to use it are two completely different things. Some people have money, but no sense of how to make it work for them.)

None of what you've written here has proven that having $2m in Nigeria means u will be able to live the life people with $200m in the US are living.

Firstly I think u have a numbers problem and u don't seem to know the actual worth of the $198m difference in real life (whether in the US or Nigeria)

A whole lot of top elite retired and current footballers are not even worth up to $200m and they live far far better than anybody who has $2m in Nigeria. Before u do half of what you mentioned up there sef in this naija, that Ur $2m go Don vanish.

Do u know how much they sell private jet? Do you know much u will be paying for parking Ur private jet at the hanger in the airport? All those VIp treatment u are dreaming of sef, before u know it Ur $2m go Don vanish and the person with $200m go still dey ball even with the heavy taxes.
