You're not different from others who has info about criminals or internet fraudsters but decided to keep mute because you feel the FCID should do their job
2cribz:
The NA should be slammed, insulted and slammed to court and fined 10billion naira for damages.
It is not the duty of the NA to arrest suspected Internet fraudsters,no where under the Nigerian constitution was the NA given the privilege to impersonate the anti graft agency In rounding up cyber criminals. No legal backing.Infact see them in court.
What nonsense

Their work seriously lagging behind but they’re busy doing third part jobs which efcc doesn’t even want them to do in the first place

While the country is being wrecked by political terrorists Ndlea, police, army, effcc are busy pursuing yahoo boys

The evidence of the failed system of the Nigeria government. The body becomes useless when the head is rotten.
Thank God the same failed system also fished them out! There's dignity in labour, get rich quick end is wasted effort.

Good one, but if you can arrest half of this number of corrupt politicians in Nigeria, the country will be better than many Western countries

Army dey raid Yahoo Yahoo Boys, instead of leaving that job to the EFCC, while Lakaruwa, Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen and Bandits are having a field day!
Nigerian Civil Defense dey raid People over Visa Scam, like they now work for foreign embassies
Police dey plan raid against a Protest by their retired Comrades, as if Robbers and One chance People don finish for town.

Why is every agency leaving its core responsibilities and trying to do the job of another?
Follow the Money, as the Gringos will say.

This is one of the major problems we have in this country. "Dancing to the gallery". All our security agencies LOVE to go for soft and easy targets (unarmed civilians) to make them look as if they are working. But when it comes to the armed villains, they start to give excuses as to why they can't engage them or defeat them.
We do not encourage cyber crimes and fraud but let the appropriate agencies handle it duties. Let the Army continue to face the armed bandits, armed kidnappers and terrorists in our forests.
The EFCC too should not only go after "yahoo boys", they should also work more on "yahoo politicians".
These poor & hungry boys (though lazy and thieves) are easy to arrest and stack up like a pack of cards, but when it's people like Yahaya Bello and Co, everyone turns a blind eye.

Kai, I'll change my identity.
E dey shame me to be called a Nigerian.
How can they leave bandits, kidnappers, herdsmen having a Field day and be going after boys that can handled by EFCC and Police our friends.

The evidence of the failed system of the Nigeria government. The body becomes useless when the head is rotten.
Stop this excuse. It's the get rich quick mentality that has consumed the Nigerian society particularly the youths.

Nchenches:
Army arresting alleged fraudsters? What sort of military formation is that? What then is the job of Nigeria police? Defend the integrity of a natiin is the role of the army in every country on earth. Why is Nigeria different?
Defending the integrity of the nation means that they should keep a blind eye on crime committed in the country if they have first hand knowledge? Fraudstars are tools of insecurity if you don't know. They can do anything for money. So the army shouldn't arrest those involved in bunkering, oil pipeline vandalisation and illegal refining of crude? Are these not financial crimes?

With a good lawyer, these guys will definitely come out.

By this assertion, I am not promoting cyber crime but worried that our security Agencies keeps violating the very Constitution the sworn to protect.

The Military is never designed to make such arrest unless under a joint operation wherein the Police/EFCC takes the credit so as to validate the arrest in court. If this arrest is a sole arrest then the obvious to be stated is that there is no line of communication and cooperation amongst these Agencies.

Another lacuna here is "Warrant of Arrest". Unless Nigeria system is quasi-military, I have not seen anywhere such Warrant is given to the military within their territory.
dey find work as a lawyer! Write out all ur lungs

Okay since the army now arrests yahooboys which means the efcc now has all the time to chase politicians right.

Just a question, what concerns the army with a purely police/EFCC operation ? Correct me if I'm wrong but I doubt their purview includes these sort of arrests
