These people think we are fools. The GDP standard is a metric calculated in US dollars. They have deliberately used naira here to fool the unsuspecting and deflect from their abysmal performance. We are really gullible people in Nigeria. Can someone express the gdp figures on international figures? Please get a calculator and checkout the figures in USD or Euro, you can then really see that the gdp figures rather declined over the years and not increased as shown. FreeStuffsNG: 17 Likes |

Omo. The mighty iroko has fallen and they want us to celebrate. This rebased figure is just about 250b dollars. A decade ago when our GDP rebased, we were hovering around 500b dollars. Nigeria now has the lowest per capita income in the whole of Africa if not the world. Lower than Chad, Congo, Sudan, Malawi, Sierra Leone etc. From a GDP of over $500B, and now down to $200B under Fulani and Yoruba APC. Shame, real shame! 8 Likes |
