So votes bring in political leaders in Nigeria? If you say yes, then you are simply lying to yourself.
LOL...Nigerians complain about bad leaders, and then vote in those same bad leaders...just like you and the tinubu geng.

I've known about this for twenty years. If votes were rigged as you say, there would have been severe riots and protests since.

In 2019, one guy posted to do his NYSC in ondo state, before election, villagers were telling him APC was evil..come election, when he acted as an inec adhoc staff, many of those same villagers voted for......APC. NO bribery, no corruption, no thugs in the village, no coercion, nothing...no ballot box snatching...they all voted for APC.

And I have seen the same thing in election after eleciton, after election. People vote for their side, and when their side loses, the election was rigged, when their side wins, the election was not rigged.

Like Buhari, in 2011, election was rigged, dogs and babbons. 2015, election was not rigged. Same INEC chairman conducted both elections. How do you explain shuch schizoid thinking?

If Nigerians were serious, they would have long since voted APC/PDP/ADC/NNPP/Obident out. But they are not. Last election, most of them did not even vote self. Local elections the same thing. Someone runs on a small party, dey laugh at am.

I mean Gani Fawenhimni was a man who fought against bad government for years, decades even. When the man ran for office, guess how nigerians treated him...after years of agreeing with him?

Forget rigging. Leaders and followers alike are saying and singing from the same playbook. And the truth is, nigerians do not want change. they just want certainty. That is why things do not change. And yes, I get annoyed, but what can one do.?

Nigeria maybe worst but I do not see running abroad as do or die affair, after all, we are the one who bring out corrupt leaders there. They are part of us

So sad, their ancestors were bound in chains and shipped across like animals, those that resisted were killed or drowned in the sea.

Their children are paying with their fingers to be shipped across too, their ancestors will weep if they saw what is happening today.

The owners of these foreign lands are no better than us, they stole the works of our ancestors to shine.

The patent system is an organized theft machine.

See the video below done by Cosby and understand why he was lynched by the industry.

You have no criminal records and you’re scared of deportation? You have US children and they can’t file for you?
How do children file for a father who had irregular status at the time they were born?

At 57 he should be heading to Nigeria, not another foreign land. If you haven't made it abroad by 60 years of age, you are probably never going to make it again. Your best bet is to head home.

Anyways, His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) has always emphasized that, their is no need to leave Nigeria at the expense of your life and sanity.

In this same country that people are complaining, some other people are making it big and even better than people abroad WITH rest of mind.

He must have been smuggled into the USA in the first place..

Anyways, it’s a welcome development. Your brothers here supported trump. It’s a win-win situation, I guess. Anything to make America great again is welcome grin

NO, voting and supporting leaders who were more interested in sharing money did this.

Nigerians think of their economy as a cake, and expect their leaders to share the cake. Serious nations see their economy as a factory that yields products for profit.

But since independence, we wanted free stuff, and more cake...and here we are.

Even then, people still illegally immigrate to the US from industrialized countries. A lot of chinese do so, for example.
Please I would like that you elaborate a little bit on the free stuff that Nigerians wanted.

Have they been getting the free stuffs? If yes, is the free stuff the reason why the economy is this bad?

He’s right. A child cannot file for him before attaining the age of 21. Having no criminal record does
no exempt an illegal or immigrant who have overstayed their visa from being deported.

Being illegal in the U.S can run one mad. I know several people who are upright citizens with good jobs but cannot sleep well at night. It’s psychologically draining and keeps one trapped in a never ending cycle of vulnerability.

Truth of the matter is that chidi didn't leave Nigeria because he was desperate or suffering. Chidi is just an adventurous soul who wanted to explore. He was 20 years old when he japa and back then it was 20 naira to 1 dollar. So chidi was not motivated by poverty or the desire to be American or the desire to hammer. Everywhere was soft for chidi. The man just dey chop life unaware that over the years the world around him dey change. Chidis downfall is being born in a soft Nigeria and the lackadaisical attitude it gave men of his generation

Huge mistake bro. For most people, it takes at least 5 years to settle into a new country, if you are lucky. If you japa at 65, you'll be north of 70yrs old by the time you find your level. 70yrs abroad with no pension, paying rent, hustling 9-5 job to survive, etc is nothing but unbearable punishment bro. I am talking from experience.

ahhh but you miss the whole point ? Life is not about TRYING TO SETTLE. at that age life is an adventure and they are not operating on a time clock. They are there to die never to return home. So they enjoy each day as it comes in the abroad. The way forward for everybody forward is into the grave, whether you are settled or not .

All that's happening today is caused by leadership problems. Unfortunately, those who supported tinubu are part of those illegal immigrants running up and down to avoid deportation. After wreaking havoc , they ran away thinking the grass is greener on the other side.

No place like home. They should come back and let's fix Nigeria together, hoping they'd not make same mistake of 2023 in 2027. I'm sure their mentality has changed on voting already. They must have seen where a black immigrant was voted into great positions by whites due to merit and competence and not by ethnicity. That's why they can run there to seek a better life. Shun tribalism and Nigeria will move forward

Until the day governance leaves the ruling class' hands and falls on the hands of the masses, Nigeria will remain in same position. God bless Nigeria.
And for your mind Tinubu is responsible for the rottiness that have bedevil our land. Politics aside, the problem of Nigeria is Nigerians

Losing fingers to frostbite while trying to escape to Canada? That’s rough. The smugglers totally played him, lying about the journey and leaving him in -28°C snow. Those guys only cared about his $2,000, not his safety. It’s crazy he’s a hero who saved a kid from drowning but still got caught up in this mess over a missed hearing. Feel so bad for him and his five kids. Hope he gets some good news soon. Anyone know how he’s holding up?

Nobody can file for you if you are already on removal order. The only way to change that is for a federal judge to reopen your case which is near impossible. My concern for him is that he has been in US long enough to know that traveling to Canada during winter season by road is a No go. The cold will kill you for real. He made a rookie mistake.

I agreed, the issue is a primordial one. But looking at it critically, before 2015, Nigeria fared much better
We never witnessed all the japa, security and economic issues as we do today. The reason I'd keep blaming tinubu is simple. He sponsored protests nationwide over Jonathan's proposed subsidy removal, despite the latter's preparedness with enough palliatives in place and viable programmes to cushion the effect. I remember the Sure-P programme which had benefited a lot of Nigerians. These were undeniable facts.

As if that wasn't enough, he brought in buhari and single handedly sponsored his election, rebranded him and he won the election. He came and harmed us in many ways than doing good to us. Buhari left and tinubu took over....same generation of leaders who have been hurting our economy all along. Now, vices have increased, the inflation is it's peak, unemployment and insecurity are also increasing. That's why I'll always blame him.

Finally, Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria and you're right when you said this. When you see somebody of highly controversial personality, someone you can't trust but for the sake of bigotry, you went and voted him. If such a fellow does yiu shege, who's at fault? Nigerians who voted him, of course

I can assure you that NO ONE leaves Nigeria hoping to never return. You may dislike Nigeria all you like but two years abroad, you will be craving to return even if for just a visit. At age 60, most Nigerians abroad will prefer to return home if circumstances are right.

NO, they wanted people coming into their country to be people that would benefit their country, not unskilled immigrants.

And the USA is nice, Countries like australia, japan and so forth are even more stricter.
No country can do without unskilled immigrants except they don't want immigrants.
Also, some unskilled immigrants ended up becoming top notch skilled workers.
