Good day, fellas. If you were mistakenly taken to a psychiatry hospital, how will you prove to them that you aren't mad?

Why would you need to prove u are not mad?? Do you think psychiatric doctors and nurses don't know behavioral pattern of psychosis or schizo or other forms of mind disorder

Try as much as possible to remain calm and avoid talking too much because anything you say or do at that tensed moment would be used against you.

But if you like the place and don't feel like leaving anytime soon Just tell them you voted for Bulaba and would do that again in the next election......They'll conclude you're truly màd because nobody in his/her right senses would vote in a disaster twice.

They don't know everything. Remember, the victim was brought there for health reasons. If you aren't careful, there is a way you would react, they would chain you immediately thinking that you are truly mad.

You have a point. Your first reaction matters but most people would fail the test because of what their first reaction would be. They would likely yell "What am i doing here?" How did i get here? etc. This would even give the doctors and nurses the impression that truly, this person is mad.

Not all but maybe violent mad people or they would inject them to sleep.

My case scenario.


Wakes up in pyschatric hospital. Sees other patients

Starts shouting, 'God abeg, God abeg, God abeg'

Sights Nurse, 'hey Nurse, come first. Please I want to tell you something. Am not mad, this must be a mistake.


Nurse, 'Naso una dey talk for here.'


'Ahhhhh, who be una. I say am not mad, are you mad to be calling me a mad man? Babe abeg comot this chains before I vex.'


Nurse starts preparing injections.

'God abeg, God abeg......' till injection makes me sleep.



Three weeks later..... After realizing that shouting will not help me.

Doctors come to check on me, quietly brooding on my bed. 'hmm, seems like his condition has improved, we can now take him to the general ward.'


Springs up, 'i say I no mad, you wan carry me go general ward. Guy discharge me make I go house rest nah.' I'll scream.


'Calm down, we have to check you for two more months to be sure you're properly cured.' doctor says.



'Doctor are you kidding me? You chop craze ni, oga free me before I enter the real madness for you.'



Ah, Nurse, come and add injection, this boy still never cure.....
