Allow people to refine their fuel and tax them. This way, the price of pms will crash and the economy will get better IGR
You are allowed to do that

Get a license and refine

Not making nonsenses that damage people's cars and destroy the environment

Yo, big shoutout to the Nigerian Army’s 6 Division! Busting 62 oil thieves, shutting down 14 illegal refining sites, and seizing over 350,000 litres of stolen petroleum in just a week? That’s some serious work! Love how they’re hitting hard in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Akwa Ibom. Those crooks didn’t stand a chance with the troops raiding their ovens, boats, and pits. Major props to Major General Emekah for keeping the pressure on. Keep protecting our resources, guys! 🇳🇬 Anyone else hyped about this crackdown?

Despite all the bragging, no arrest were made.

No prosecution.

It is either not allowed in Nigeria or corruption has damaged the process of getting licensed. If the government are transparent and fair in this regard, many would want to be licensed. And of course after licensing them, govt would keep an eye on them so the set standards wouldn't be jeopardized.

NO, you should get government to issue licences to people who will build mini refineries, not to people like these guys who have one large metal barrel being heated over fire.

The chap that would build a proper mini refinery would get qualified people to build it and to refine fuel to international standard. These guys? They will make the kind of fuel that would work...while slowly making your engine become like a stage 4 cancer victim.
Although, you have a point... but it takes a genius to invent solutions from crude resources... I do not believe it is right to stab an helper because he is not clothed in royal garment...

I do not support destroying pipelines to steal petroleum resources... nor support those who connive with foreigners to steal precious metals...

But the facts remain that we have a deficit in jobs and wealth creation... and some individuals put in time, efforts, and resources to start up some business...

As long as they are not stolen... let them be encouraged to register with the appropriate agencies... and be recognized as legitimate businesses...

Only diesel and kerosene can be refined in this manner

More Importantly it cannot be done in an environmentally friendly manner.

The land is polluted and so is the air

In a few years there will be endemic breathing disorders in Rivers state because this was allowed to go on for so long
not different from what shell n co has been doing
