Very true. See the USA...it is having some sort of price increases in food because it is illegal immigrants that form most of the people who do the harvesting of crops, and now that trump is chasing them, it is difficult for the crops to get picked.

Legal residents don't want to do that kind of job for many reasons.

And If he had a Green card, which qualifies him to apply for citizenship- why was he running away to Canada?

Assuming he could not get the Citizenship- at least he is still a Permanent Resident na - so why paying smugglers to leave the USA when he has Green Card?

But can one be in the US illegally for that long without papers, if they once contravened their visa terms. After overstaying their visas, some stay back and keep hiding, to avoid being banned from future travels to the US.

Those are the people Trump is trying to evict.

Maybe he was jobless and no woman wants to marry a jobless man. He has 5 children...If he is a good father, he should go back to Nigeria and his 5 children can remit money to him for his use in Nigeria.
