I doubt that’s their game plan. In fact, we’re the ones playing better overall — more purposeful, more threatening — it’s just that our finishing has let us down.

South Africa might have more of the ball, but they’re not doing anything decisive with it. Possession without penetration doesn’t win games. Nigeria has created the better chances; we just haven’t been clinical.

If anything, it looks like they're the ones holding on and hoping to survive, not the other way around
