Can someone help explain how they coined the acronyms? Meanwhile I'm confused as to where I belong between the 2. We parents not rich, neither were they poor. We never used firewood. Gas had always been used until we grew a bit and began to explore things then my mum out of fear abandoned it to get kerosene stove. When I one day asked why she stopped using the gas cooker she said she didn't want us (children) setting the house on fire. And now with the many young boys she brought from the village to assist she can't try it.

I remember my brothers experience with his then little son turning on their gas cooker at the shop without their knowledge just before they left. By morning the whole cylinder was empty. At the time they spent all their time in the shop and only retire late at night to sleep. Luckily there was source of ignition else there would have been a sad tale.

The case of eating biscuit all round and the middle eaten later, that's something I remember doing. It was just fun.

The first time I ever did any form of trekking was when I was in primary 5. And it happened just once. Major trekking/public transport for me started in JSS3. JSS1 & JSS2 na 50-50.

Mine is still Mapo cos Mum continued hustling when Dad had to stop. In the real sense of it, I have never gone hungry. I wasn't just able to eat what I really wanted sometimes.
