From what I have seen so far, Adeleke's defeat is sacrosanct. Adeleke will be massively defeat in all the 3 senatorial district in Osun State.
Inevitable is the word if they ask me to describe his situation now.

Tyrant in the villa wants him to taste bitter soup he gave him during presidential election in Osun in 2023.

Bro, you remember I told yyou so? I said Tinubu will not accept Adeleke's attempt to defect to APC when he knows the failed Governor is already a dead man walking.

Tinubu is from Osun. He cannot deliberately abet an Adeleke horrible second term on his own State of Origin even for the purpose of remaining in power beyond 2027.

More so when the dancing alaye has underperformed horribly meaning he is a goner. Tinubu, the master strategist, will seek to regain Osun under his own APC candidate who will win the 2026 Osun Gubernatorial election and, most importantly, will get Osun back on track.

This is how you people fail. You can be loved before and later be hated. Adeleke is gone. Obaseki was the toast of many of us then but the last two years of his second tenure, the love died. Asue was just unfortunate cos the baggage of Obaseki rub him.
It's not as if he was even loved before. What he got was emotional votes because the people of osun wanted Oyetola and APC out by all means at the time

Adeleke Was Rejected From Defecting To APC Because He Is A Liability
- Opposition Lambasts Osun PDP Leadership Caucus
200 million Nigerians know who the real liabilities are, and the party that they belong to. A-looter Poverty Congress, APC that replaced Prosperity and Development Party, PDP 10 years ago.

The association, in a statement on Sunday by the NAS Capn, Dr. Joseph Oteri, said these needless deaths, a grim reflection of the desperation gripping many Nigerians, underscore the rising hunger and economic hardship that has engulfed the nation.

The National Association of Seadogs (Pyrates Confraternity) says it is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of over 60 lives in Oyo, Anambra, and Abuja during recent palliative distribution stampedes.

The association, in a statement on Sunday by the NAS Capn, Dr. Joseph Oteri, said these needless deaths, a grim reflection of the desperation gripping many Nigerians, underscore the rising hunger and economic hardship that has engulfed the nation.

“While we commend the government's effort to alleviate the plight of vulnerable citizens through palliatives, it is evident that these measures have been marred by inadequate planning, poor coordination, and lack of accountability,” it said.

According to the group, the chaotic scenes that led to the fatal incidents are an “indictment of the systemic failure to address the root causes of hunger and poverty”.

The group noted that rising hunger in Nigeria is a national emergency that demands urgent action.

“Failure to act decisively will deepen the crisis, with devastating social, economic, and political consequences,” it said.

“We mourn with the families of the deceased and demand that the government ensures accountability for this avoidable tragedy. Hunger should never be a death sentence in a country blessed with abundant resources.”

“It is time to rise to the challenge of ensuring that every Nigerian can live with dignity, free from the scourge of poverty and hunger,” it added.

Therefore, the association called on all levels of government to urgently prioritize sustainable solutions to the hunger crisis.

It said, “Palliatives must reach the intended beneficiaries without endangering lives. Transparent and well-organised systems, with the involvement of community leaders and credible NGOs, should be put in place to avoid chaotic distributions.

“Beyond temporary relief measures, the government must develop long-term strategies to enhance food production, support local farmers, and stabilize food prices.

“Programmes aimed at addressing the needs of the most vulnerable must be scaled up. Access to affordable healthcare, education, and social safety nets is critical to lifting millions out of poverty.

“Policies that create jobs and enhance income-generating opportunities should be fast-tracked to reduce dependency on palliatives.”

The association noted that two of its chapters in Edo State (Area 3) recently had successful palliative programmes, during which over 2,000 underprivileged persons were fed.

It added that one of the key components of the programme was orderliness.

Don't say APC, say Oyetola.

That Oyetola wants to become governor by fire by force, he knows he can't stop Adeleke during the primaries if he joins APC
Oyetola is not even contesting again.

without sentiment adeleke is a big liability as it is now.
Baba perform faaaaaaar below expectations.
Too many blood in his hands, you think osun people will just forget the local govt chairman that was killed by adeleke supporters few months ago, not to talk of the ones that died during the general elections?

He won and much was expected from him as a result of the adeleke family and davido frenzy but the man disappointed big time.
Nothing tangible to attach to his tenure as achievement, just come to osun and see for yourself, baba don loot tire.

To prove how much of a liability he is, I have never heard in Nigeria political History that a whole sitting Governor was rejected from joining a party😂😂😂

Chief Bisi Akande, a strongman of PBAT, does not relish relinquishing leadership of the APC in the state to a governor he knows won't easily kowtow to his shenanigans. Man's a liability but you couldn't defeat him. Lol. Wit the PDP in disarray at this point, it's a steely battle for the Adelekes, as Aregbesola is also on the prowl and looking to draw blood.

The Governor should double down on party discipline in his state. Makinde was able to best the APC as sole opposition in the South West even with federal might. It won't be easy, but it's not an impossible fight for the Governor.
My brother if Tinubu is from Oyo and lost Oyo State in the last election, there's nothing makinde could do Tinubu will finish him. The only thing working for makinde was that he was part of the G5 Governors who worked for Tinubu against all odds. To be honest I really felt sorry for Adeleke. I think Osun people doesn't want to be taken for a ride again due to what they saw in the hand of Aregbe. Decamping o, dem say no. He wan work for Tinubu while in PDP oh dem say no. If care is not taken Tinubu might still loose Osun in the next election if Adeleke decides to get a long spoon to eat with the devil Aregbe again by joining ADC. That Tinubu cousin Oyetola overates himself too much. His ego will harm Tinubu once again. It will be very shameful if Tinubu loose his ancestral state again for the second time.

The dancing governor has reduced blood pressure in Osun state through dancing. Osun state now has the lowest blood pressure in Africa today. If this is not development then lol

Hmm. You raised valid points. Though nothing is set in stone in politics, but the chances of an Aregbe and Adeleke coalition are quite slim. But then again, nothing is set in stone in politics. It will be interesting to see how Adeleke navigates the unenviable position he is in rn. I still maintain it is not an impossible task.

You know nothing about what transpires then. The late Ajimobi disrespected the then olu of Ibadan and to the extent he divided the kingdom and when there was the governorship election, Adelabu the current power minister was the choice of Ajimobi but the olu Ibadan mobilizes his people not to vote for him and Tinubu went and begged him but said he don't have anything against Adelabu but he don't want Ajimobi to still have footprint in the state anymore. He promised to support Adelabu election after mankinde. Ajimobi a sitting governor lost Senate election under APC and the two other APC candidates won. Now the new olu Ibadan is now Ladoja a very close ally of Tinubu. What out, Adelabu is the next governor of oyo state. So before you write, always knows the story. Most of you people just write what you hear not what you know. There are kings you don't joke with cos they are highly influencial. Oba of Benin is one of them too.
you are very right here

Some people will just come on social media to comment on whatever news appears to them without having knowledge about the news they are reading.
As of today, when the rumour of Ademola Adeleke's defection was flying up and down by the APC propagandists, all the radio stations in Osun State talked about it allowing contributions from the listeners at home, to my surprise, more than 70% of the callers advised governor to remain in PDP in fact,he was frantically told that, they will not vote for him once he leaves PDP, but if he remains in PDP they will vote for him, likewise state government workers, pensioners, artisans market women and men, road transport workers, almost all the Kings pledged their support for him. This not a mere say but the programs everyone in Osun State listened to.
Who is now saying that Ademola Adeleke will be defeated ? When Government workers refuse to work with the APC Government just because of the devils done to them in the past by the APC Government, if you don't understand interview any Government workers in Osun State and ask them why they don't want to see APC Government in Osun State again, they will tell you the full story, including workers who are APC members.
Please stop deceiving yourself.

most people comment out of emotion and hatred. They can never succeed in politics. Same thing is affecting igbos. You look at trend. Two senators out of three have joined APC from pdp, three house of rep members have also joined and it can be increased out of nine, there is rumors of over ten state assembly members joining too and host of pdp heavyweight. Remember Aregbesola who supported him before, is now in ADC and they have stuff faceoff. I say it has it is.
