This Guy's Inverter explodes!

The one I recommended a friend to buy exploded today o. Ommmmoooh.


Thank God I didn't buy and this is the 3rd time according to the person. He had recommended his in-laws too and their own exploded sometime last year.


I felt it was a mistake but happening over and Over again is a red flag. Buy at your own peril

I use this guys lithium power bank and inverter setup as a backup and its been quite reliable so far. Please I think its important that you give further details as this are weighty allegations. I was personally about to reach out to make a much larger power bank but now you're scaring me not to. I have a few questions
1. What burnet, the inverter or the batteries. if its the inverter, sachet inverter are known to be of a low quality and you need to use them carefully. I assume that you must have heard those warnings before no. My first sachet inverter (bought on Jumia) also burned because the light being supplied by NEPA was slightly overvoltage.
2. If it was the power bank itself that caught on fire, please can you ask your friend to share pictures and what not. Lithium fires are not a joke o and can burn down a whole house if not careful but they very very rarely happen so please by all means share more information as to how the fire happened if it was the lithium battery. if not for anything, it could be a learning experience for op and what not.

However, this post that you made is not it at all and unfair to OP without further clarification.

This is not the first time it happened.

Now let me give you details of what is solar inverter installation guide explain to me because I kept making enquiries to know what is wrong


1. He stated that the BMS used is inferior so it overcharged where I plugged to the solar panel The BMS was supposed to control the charge and discharge but because it man function it overcharged and that led to an explosion This is for the second person.


If you send me a DM I can give you more details because I really don't want to spoil anybody's business but I'm just saying and I can also send you the video evidences of all of these.

Well, with this explanation it's hard to argue much. The bms in my own pack has overcharging protection though. Even has deep discharge protection. However, it's entirely possible that maybe he just started using this new BMS, so i can't really defend much. As to your explosion claims, with this explanation, i do agree that it is very very possible that the battery exploded as Li-ion batteries do not really take well to overcharging. Even Li-po can have this issues despite being a lot more stable.

Thanks also for coming out to detail your experiences. It's now up to OP to defend himself and also say what he's done to make sure stuff like this cant happen again.
