Please, I have applied for a SA visit visa since May 30th, the last mail I got from them said it is under processing,g but that's since 2nd June.
I called customer care, and they said it's still with the consulate, and I don't need to come physically to their office.

Does it usually take this long? Is there anything else I can do, please?

the thing just weak me. If you dont use these visas, they will likely not extend it to a year. So you really have to use it well

You just have to wait,there is nothing you can do as such,except you contact the HC, that's if they will respond.

Your application is handled in Lagos; Abuja won't act on your letter. In addition, if your trip is for tourism, I'd rather you wait it out. You should receive a decision within the 3rd month.

it’s for study that’s why my program started on 1st July

Write to the Consulate in Lagos.

I wrote to the consulate and sent it through DHL but no reply, went to the consulate and they told me to send it through VFS … but I don’t know if it would change anything

I'm sure they received the mail from DHL, don't bother them again, it might trigger a refusal.

Thanks. I didn't reserve a hotel as I had an invitation that reserves and made the arrangement for a hotel.

Which ATM do you guys use that would work for the Evisa payment because it seems that not all dollar cards work for payment.
