In my family, it's a tradition that the moment you enter secondary school, you must learn something aside that can be earning you money. We don't have liabilities in my family but you see those family want to do this and that, they should please don't get me involved

Last time the whole family did family meeting, I came to see my siblings, nephews and nieces I haven't seen in years but I left before meeting start.

Every family has its own black sheep...very useless creatures

I'm guilty of this, my mom's favouritism made me lose interest in our family affairs because I know that in most cases, she's always gonna be siding with her favorite despite the favorite being wrong and I have no issues with my siblings, we get along just fine, but I feel like our mother is constantly trying to cause this tension between us and I value the relationship I have with my siblings more than anything.

What made me to completely exclude myself from my family affairs was after my husband got shot, the whole thing could've been avoided only if my mother had listened to me and took me seriously... Even though he luckily survived, his niece didn't... But I still keep in touch, visit, and I'm always available if they need me as long as they don't involve me in their family politics.

I felt left out so I demanded I be included then once I heard their issues, I saw myself out because I’m not grown enough for these issues. Now we’re back to default settings. I hear the latest drama through the grapevines. I’m not complaining again!

That's absolutely me.. i dey around and I don't even know a party is going on in the house until they came to ask me for money to get some extra foodstuffs and I'm like what's going on.. and na then I just remember say na the day of the party..
