What mistakes? You are an online noise maker. The maximum the SW will be in power will be eight years after which it will leave the region.People who migrate will definitely continue to transfer their voters card to their new locations.

You people will come to our region to share the little resources meant for the indigenes and still be disrespectful.

The people that "share" this "little" resources do they pay tax ? If yes to whom?

What is disrespect? Voting for your preferred candidate during elections?
Nope but insulting and cursing whoever doesn't support that preferred candidate of yours. That is what is disrespect.

Nigerians hear how people pay taxes abroad and automatically assume the same payment is made in Nigeria.

Nigerians hardly pay taxes until they need benefits from government. Even then, they are forced to pay three years taxes, a miniscule compare to the benefits they are after.

No, they don't pay taxes! Moat come to the West with only singlet.

You guys don't have common sense? Instead of fixing the squalid iboland, and stop the invasion of other regions, you are here justifying nonsense.

shortgun:
There is no law in Nigeria that restricts any ethnic group even if it's 100% of a region’s population from relocating to another part of the country. The Igbo people are known for their entrepreneurial spirit and adventurous nature you'll find them in virtually every nation on earth, let alone within Nigeria. As long as Nigeria remains a single, united entity.... peaceful coexistence is the only option

No no no! 8 years obasonjo and Tinubu 4 or 8 years. People of migrated should use their common sense and stop migration or migrated other places, else you won't be allowed to suffocate your hosts in nigeria. Every state is getting resource allocation from federal government based on the current population to provide the basic infrastructure, while you allowed your governors to keep looting and making your regions inhabitable, you can't come and be competing with us.

It should never have gotten this bad. Igbo and Yoruba love one another in those days. No Yoruba kid dare speak ill of strangers among them. They were welcome with open arms: towo tese!

Unfortunately, today, all the "wars" between Igbo and Yoruba is in the West. Why not in the East?

I missed those days of amicable co-existence, not realizing it could only happen in Yorubaland.
It is the fruit of Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Lagos APC brand of politics.

That is Tinubu's wish and achievement.

Check the timeline, it all started in 2014 or so when Tinubu felt Goodluck Jonathan was favoring Igbos more than his own Yoruba political camp, from there, he started using that as a sentiment to rally Yorubas against Goodluck Jonathan's regime and as Igbos stood solidly behind Goodluck rejecting Buhari and APC, Tinubu and his Lagos boys rolled out their war machines against the Southeasterners. That was the origin of it all.

And like someone said, I think the two major ethnic groups in Southern Nigeria are not supposed to be in one country. I don't know why our Yoruba brothers don't want to accept this so that we can work together to get Nigeria peacefully separated for peace, for mutual growth and for the good of our future generations to come.

It will be unfair for our children to inherit this kind of disunited country we have today, we all need to accept this sad truth and work for peaceful separation of Nigeria, peace

I can tell you one thing, there's no Yoruba man that can tell you he has ever been discriminated against in Igbo land

The same cannot be said of the Igbo man in Yoruba land

But I also say this, Yorubas and Igbos are not meant to be in one country, they need seperate countries of their own. If Gambia can be a country with a population of just 2 million people, then Igbos and Yorubas that are each over 40 million, have no business being together in one country
Do you ever see a Yoruba man say Yorubas own Igboland or that Enigunis no man’s land? Do you ever see a Yoruba man operate a kidnapping ring in Igbo land like Evans the billionaire kidnapper? Have you ever see Yorubas operating baby factories in Igbo land? Have you ever see Yorubas manufacturing and distributing fake drugs and drinks in Igbo land?

As sweet as Lagos is, are there no yorubas in UK and America? Migration didn't start with the Igbos. China is far better than Nigeria, but a lot of Chinese with there families are in Nigeria.

My brother, the person you quoted is telling you nothing but the truth, so stop reasoning like an uninformed person with limited information about life.

Migration is part of all humans right from the time of man's early existence and it is never a thing of shame.

Let me take you back to the Bible.

God instructed Abraham to leave his father's house to a foreign land he would direct him to, and Abraham obeyed and God blessed him so much in the foreign land.

Decades later after Abraham was married, that land became unfavorable for him, he migrated again to another nation where he had to disguise as a brother to his very pretty wife so that the foreigners won't kill him because of his wife. The king saw his wife and liked her and carried her but God punished the king and his household for that and he had to return Abraham's wife back to him.

Joseph was sold to Egyptian foreign trade merchants by his brothers. from there he got to Egyptian palace and later famine hit his country home where his siblings and parents lived, they came to Egypt to buy food, met Joseph and he recognized them and helped them, in the process he hid golden cup in one of their bags so that he can have a reason to arrest them to bring them over to the better country where he lived as an immigrant. He later told his siblings to go and bring their aged father to Egypt and they did and he lived in Egypt and died there but got transported back to Canaan where he got buried together with his ancestors Abraham and co.

A lot of people in the Bible migrated to different countries where they believed would favor them more than their own country or region, so migration is a normal way of life of all humans.

British and all European colonial masters that colonized the rest of the world didnt do that by remaining in their country shouting that their country is flowing with milk and honey. They still left their developed European countries to explore Africa that was mostly thick forests infested with mosquitoes that give malaria just to explore new opportunities.

Chinese are all over the world today exploring opportunities even in very mundane countries in Africa, Asia and MiddleEast, they are not claiming that their country is super developed and have everything and therefore they dont need to travel to Africa that is backward and undeveloped, only cowards and lazy people reason that way.

You or any other person cannot stop Igbos from exploring opportunities all around the world. Igbos are not only in Yoruba land, they are in all the 36 states of Nigeria in their large numbers and not just in Nigeria, they are in all countries of the world too. I was shocked when I visited Korea and saw Igbos as the dominant Africans in a major Korean city that is not even Seoul the Korean capital.

A friend that visited Russia said Igbos too were many there. I have had opportunities to also be in few EU countries and you will find Igbos in thousands in not just the EU nations capital city but some of their unknown cities.

I visited Togo, same. Mozambique the same. Go to Botswana, Tanzania, Morocco, Maccau.

I don't want to even mention China.

Visit Taipei Japan or some other unknown Asian countries Igbos are there too.

And it's not as if Igbos abandoned Southeast, they are also there in millions and developing the place. I have properties there, friends have, all my siblings have, we even have more properties in Southeast than outside Southeast and most of us don't even live in the Southeast so why do you believe Southeast has been abandoned? Because some Yoruba boys online said so?

Are you Igbo or from where?

Every Igbo guy's first goal or second is to build an edifice in Igbo land and many are establishing small businesses too, agro businesses, etc.

All we need is a sincere and fair federal government to make the right policies to improve security in Southeast and all will be fine

Simply because they know there boundaries and limitations. Charity they say begins at home. The infact Igbos have an imbended cuture and tradition discriminating among themselves Igbos, the outcast system called 0'su is a fact.
"Boundaries and limitations ", whatever that nonsense means, are established in the constitution and the constitution only! You don't make them up as you go.

If an igbo man does something wrong in your vicinity, the constitution is there to set him straight.., use it! An igbo man will never dance to the whims and caprices of your primitive cultural proclivities, if such practices are not established as a constitutional must.
Learn to deal with this.

In any even, both Nigeria as a failed country
and the different constitutions that have been used to run Nigeria post 1970, were all products of your uncles desperation to dictate who gets what, when, and how in Nigeria. You fought and killed for One Nigeria, you wrote the constitution through the military as the "winners of the war" and dumped the damned thing on us..., you are now the one who's complaining of not getting enough respect because you are not given all sorts of cultural privileges alien to the constitution! The question is:What exactly do you want!?

BTW, if the non existent "osu outcast" worries you that much, do something by taking care of your immediate surroundings first. For instance, go to Ogun and stop the ritual killings or stop the heinous Abobaku killings that is nothing but an emberassment to modern existence

This ur mumu question should not only be restricted to Igbos.

What are the governors of Yorubas, Urhobos, and others that are abroad doing with their resources that made them relocate outside Nigeria?

Abi your definition of one Nigeria is different?

If u want a one Nigeria where people are restricted to their regions then push for a constitutional review to that effect.

Don't be hypocritical.. Even the SS where the oil and gas money used to hold this country together is coming from, is not making any noise

Lame cheesy
If you have a brain you'll know there’s nothing wrong with Igbos living or doing business across Nigeria.Mobility is a sign of enterprise, not failure!

Europeans, Arabs, and Chinese are found all over the world does that mean their homelands are uninhabitable? Of course not. It's called global presence and economic expansion.

You can’t have that kind of noise in the East because you don’t have plenty Yorubas dragging your limited space and resources with you .

Yorubas hatred towards other tribes in lagos was initiated by politicians, eg a Benin woman seriously injured in lagos during last presidential election because she didn't vote there candidate that is other tribe offence here. Is it not ndudi elumelu an Igbo man that gave lagos state 25 billion naira yesterday

Charity should be testament
There is no logic in your statement. People migrate to distant lands and find success.

Nigerians of all ethnic group migrated to USA, UK, etc and they are making it far more than they would in Nigeria.

Will Americans doubt their success because they were not as successful in Nigeria. Sometimes prejudice impedes our reasoning.
