The Lagos REC of INEC raised the issue of massive, coordinated and sinister transfer of many voters from the Southeast to Lagos State and it was to influence the election outcome and determine our political leaders in Lagos. Then the Yoruba resolved that "enough is enough!". The Yoruba decided to protect the political interest of the indigenes and Yoruba who own the land. The strategy adopted in Lagos is now to block the sinister outcome of that failed 'coup' and prevent such from ever happening again.

Lagos is not called " Ilu ọgbọn" for nothing. Eternal vigilance is the price of human liberty.

There is no law in Nigeria that restricts any ethnic group even if it's 100% of a region’s population from relocating to another part of the country. The Igbo people are known for their entrepreneurial spirit and adventurous nature you'll find them in virtually every nation on earth, let alone within Nigeria. Following the counter coup of July 1966, Hausa soldiers were fond of harassing and beating Ibos in Western Nigeria.

Yorubas protested on the streets to get Gowon to call his Hausa troops to order .

A few days later, and Ibo guy was caught attempting to blow up the University of Ibadan .

When asked why he wanted to stage such a dastardly terrorist act, the Ibo terrorist said he wanted to avenge the sack of Ibo VC and Ibo lecturers .

Note the VC wasn't sacked rather he decided alongside all Ibo staff of the university to relocate to the East. The Ibo VC whom Azikiwe imposed on the university had illegally paid himself and every Ibo staff of the university three months of their salary in advance prior to running to the SE.

The Yorubas in Ibadan began to Ronu from that moment forward.

This statement is the reason why I despise igbo governors, due to how poorly developed thier states are, we migrate to partly developed states to survive. If Abia state had the level of development lagos has you won't see much igbos in Lagos.
Lagos is just a ground to hustle and flex.
