Have you ever been out of debt servicing ?

oyeb15:
Is our external reserve even up to $28 billion dollars as at now.
Tinubu want to plunge Nigeria into decades of debt servicing. All he want to use d $ for his reelection and if he doesn't win, all is gone already.

Are there no opposition senators in that red chamber again. This is very serious.

Any institution that borrow these people such amount does not want the development of Nigeria.

We dey borrow for Naija sha. Ahhahn!!! See money! Billions of dollars. The way our country borrows, one would think we don't generate any source of income.

Some senators and contractors will be praying for the loans to be approved on time because its payday for them.

Everybody can see how much this government wants to invest in power. We don't want to hear any excuses come 2027 about how/why electricity isn't constant ooo.
Its understandable when our mind boggles at such sums. They are however modest when we consider our peer group of Egypt, Algeria and South Africa.

When there was subsidy on petrol we borrowed, now there is no subsidy on petrol we are still borrowing even more. So what then is the point of subsidy removal, to enrich the elites?

Nigerians are Nigeria's problem.
They tax you, you complain.
They borrow loan, you complain.

So the development you are praying for, where is it going to come from? Will it just fall from the sky?

At least, you can see that the loans are tied to infrastructure; roads, rail and power, even ports.
The development we pray and hope for is suppose to improve our lives and not swell the pockets of few individuals in the corridors o power alone.
What will coastal road achieve?
What has many state airports achieved?
Rail towards Niger Republic nko?
Flyovers?
Disfunctional education system?
Religious expenses?
Politics of do or die nko?

White elephant project, most funniest is Easter port reconstruction and Eastern rail line, a senator from south East has already thrown wait for the loan. He didn't ask why using East as a code without mentioning the particular port and the poor situated area. At least porthacut to maiduguri was mentioned as Easter rail line, even though it will not pass through East But the Eastern port can go the same way. That Eastern senator should ask questions before supporting.

We are not borrowing to develop these sectors;
1. Education (Tertiary and Technical Education)
2. Agriculture
3. Health, the subnational healthcare borrowing is for the state governor to pocket. No wonder they keep travelling abroad
4.ICT, AI
5. Security, all these projects will be implemented successfully if there security

This administration is a big failure

Sounds like you are coursing your country, how about you say you hope it’s not the type of loan that they will take and the project will not see the light of the day?

Pls let’s stop wishing the country bad with our actions & inactions
how is he "coursing your country"?

if he says he hopes that all the listed will not see the light of day, is that what will make them see the light of day?

all the hope you have been saying, how has it materialised into a better nigeria?

is it by saying "you hope" that Japan, china, south korea, canada, germany, sweden, norway etc have gotten to where they are today?

does the "tying" mean that the monies will be spent for what they were "tied" to?

Lagos-Calabar Highway Costs 7 times more per km than Pan-African Cairo-Cape town route.

1. Nigeria’s Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, a 700 km highway.

Budget: $11–13 billion

2. Cairo-Cape Town Highway, a 10,228 km Cairo-Cape Town Highway

Budget: $1.65 billion

Why is tinubu and his brother at EFCC refusing to contact the zamfara state governor who is holding $9billiok dollars stolen from the state purse by Diezini Maduekwe...

Sh said sh wants to give it to the FG, and that sh has evidence on the lodgement of the money into the current zamfara state governor account...

That money is huge, it will carry out alot the projects on this list without borrowing...

Kilode!

There's a startup that monitors government projects.

This is the time for them to become more visible

The loan is actually an avenue to divert these foreign currency dollars $ and pounds £ that they would waste on the 2027 elections

It Is not for any development!

is it by collecting loan that tinubu is trying?

how has he used his first chance?

"Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project to be funded by Export Credit Agency - $700 million".

but tinubu has collected another $747-million Deutsche Bank-led syndicated loan for the same purpose

Shey this one na borrowing?
Shiorrr
When other smaller nations are borrowing more than Nigeria.
Only small South Africa borrowed 5 times what Nigeria is borrowing.
I don't know why the govt cannot borrow like $100 billion and use the fund for the development of Nigeria.

Rather pray that whoever will not allow the project to see the light of the day should be incapacitated by God, render such person obsolete, and take them far away from the project. The project will see the light of the day in Jesus name. Amen.

Let us be positive over Nigeria's development. Our curses over Nigeria is more than prayers. Maybe, that's why the thieves are succeeding.

Please say positive things over Nigeria
