Owerri, the capital city of the gas rich Imo State, is a place where Nature meets Nurture.

It is the only capital city in Nigeria where 4 cardinal points from same spot appear beautiful from an aerial view.

The most civilized commercial drivers are found in the capital city of owerri (this is a very good attribute to have, while dealing with immigrants).

No place can boast of a better livability, serenity and ease of movement like owerri.

Owerri city has a world class road interconnectivity, with the so many by passes along highways and major roads; the blend and connectivity of old and new owerri metropolis is nothing short of a masterpiece.

It has more than 4 world class open markets, with world class structures and well tarred roads in the markets(Relief, ekeonuwa, Alaba, New timber, IMSU markets)

The hospitality industry (a major factor for receiving visitors) is world class.

new comer ke! I stayed in world bank, owerri for two years. Is a fine city no doubt but no proper maintenance and i think is over hyped. Cant be compared to Port Harcourt.

Everytime Lagos this, Lagos that. Be proud of your Chocolate City (Brown Roof) state capital for once. All SW capitals from Abeokuta, Osogbo ,Ado Ekiti, Ibadan and Akure are just pigsty not fit for human habitation . As a former capital of Nigeria, every Nigerian can live in Lagos if they wish. OP, abeg give us more pictures of Owerri and other SE states.

An embassy is a country's representation in another country's territory. There cannot be two embassies in one country. What you advocate for is a consulate - sort of a branch which is under the embassy - usually located in the capital of the country. And to be fair, either Port-harcourt or Enugu gets a consulate not Owerri.

How does it affect my assertion that owerri deserves embassies ?
If consulates are a branch of an embassy(singular, which I didn't use), are they not also embassies(plural, which I used)?
