I don’t know if you guys have been following this GMO issue, even this Aproko doctor has been dragged on the issue

Considering the fact that it can’t be replanted and not many farmers might have the money to keep buying next year. Also, is there no health issue related to it cause this aproko doctor has just been explaining it’s advantages in this long ass video.

What are the general implications in the long run(health wise)?

will people here who support ojuyobo agree to have him as their club president looking at his past records, performance and integrity or let him have another chance for a second tenure but being a tribalist allows them to have a second opinion lol. just look at those ones living abroad but will never come back to live here and experience the remaining 2 (or 6) years of his governance.

i just hope the unf*rtunat* ones living here are benefiting through one way or the other.

It's becoming trend with right Wingers. First was Michelle Obama, then former new Zealand prime minister, Brigitte macron and now even Spain prime ministers wife is being targeted and called a trans working for the Mexican cartel. These people are ridiculous.

If I remember correctly, reccy was a staunch supporter and promoter of the buhari led Apc government. He was quite combative at times.

My GOATS are Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels.

Great technical wrestlers that brought realism to genre.
Ibime:
For technical skills Mr Perfect was lauded as the most technically accomplished wrestler

Big enough to tussle with the heavyweights and agile enough to go toe-to-toe with the high flyers. His mat game was 10/10, his rope game was 9/10 and his personality and charisma was 10/10

Respect Curt Hennig. After Macho man, na him

Now you are talking.

My personal favourite is Brett Hart.

I also liked Ricky the Dragon Steamboat in the 80s. His fight with Macho Man in Wrestlemania 3 was epic.

I have not been following this specific situation you are talking about.

What is the issue? And what did Aproko Doctor say?

It’s the issue of GMO(Genetically Modified Organism) proposed by Bill Gates being introduced to farmers in Africa, he actually spoke against it some time ago but he released a video yesterday now praising the GMO stating it advantages without dwelling much on the disadvantages( for someone that spoke against it before).

A picture of him and Gates surface which made people believed Money has changed hands which made him went in support of the GMO introduced and given his goodwill on X on health related issues

Won’t there be any medical related issues when it’s introduced to Nigeria with poor medical facilities, since it’s altered against the organic?

I agree she should have been ignored, this Macron issue is only giving her publicity.

She is going down the rabbit hole that Kanye went too. A conspiracy for hire. They say the most outrageous things for attention

Obi's response to Okpebholo should be written in gold and passed on to all APC nitwits.

“I went to Benin to invest in a better life for the people. If they have good doctors and nurses, life will be better for them. What I expect the governor to do is to complement efforts aimed at improving society,”.
Such a matured response that is reminiscent of a true leader and one that is not perturbed by the rantings of illiterates.

If Okpebholo had a politician like Obi that would donate to education when he was struggling with his WAEC he would have been a better human being.

You all are looking at only one aspect. The most complete wrestlers ever( in ring performance, mic , charisma, selling Merch, pulling crowds) are Hulk, Stone cold Steve Austin, Rock, John Cena, Shawn, Kurt angle then maybe Taker, Triple H and Ric flair. Stone cold, Cena and Hulk are my favorites.

Bret and Shawn are GOATED but they were too small to hold Heavyweight title (both 6ft) for so long

I always preferred Intercontinental title to Heavyweight cos of the small guys. Mr Perfect, Macho man and Razor Ramon were the only fairly big guys (6ft 2 and above and muscular) who did the high flying stuff and that's where the believability factor comes in that they would make genuine heavyweight Champions

Monday sat for that WAEC in 2008 as a 38-year-old adult that was most likely doing well financially. He didn't fail WAEC because he was indigent, he failed because he was dull.

I heard the seed will kill any fertile land designed for natural crops

Meaning it will be used exclusively for GMO…any other seeds will die when planted

Yeah, and also the seed can only be planted once, Meaning they’ll have to get the seed for plantation every year

We’re battling enough illness in Nigeria with inadequate medical facilities and they want to add more

It is a complex issue and the truth is that no one knows all the facts for sure. The whole truth will be revealed in time (possibly decades).

For now, the benefits are obvious, notably increased yield and increased pest resistance. This could be huge in Africa with its relatively infertile soil and historically bad agricultural practices.

The potential dangers are uncertain but will become obvious over a long period of time.

The first farmers during the Neolithic Agricultural Revolution 10,000 to 12,000 years ago carried out a rudimentary and imprecise form of genetic modification in the first place before food crops like rice, maize, wheat etc came into existence, so my gut feeling is that if there is adequate monitoring and oversight it will turn out well in the long run.

bill gates is a billionaire - once the worlds richest man

he has achieved everything he wants to achieve in his life

to say money has changed hands [to change his mind] is imho - low thinking

the man has access to enough eggheads who will do enough research unto the benefits or other wise

keep in mind everything we consume today is genetically modified - even if we dont call it that

every domestic animal is modified to serve a purpose. today you have broiler and layer chickens. you have cows bred for milk and cows bred for beef. you have multiple strains of apples, bananas etc

for man to thrive and survive, he modifies his environment. do you want to breed catfish in a pond or go and start swimming for them in a river? do you want to buy your food of teh shelf or engage in hunter gatherer lifestyle

the worry of GMO for me is western corporate interests who have shown that once they have cornerd the market they start nickel and diming and subscribing and overpricing

medicine is for all intent and purposes, unnatural. using artificial methods to combat disease and injury.
same can be said for civilisation.
