ruggedtimi:It's a road race. I was in Singapore 15yrs ago when F1 was on. I thought it's a special race course, but to my very eyes, the roads were made shift for F1 Grand prix. The roads are normal road during the day till Noon then they put the boards and barricades to control/separate the routes for F1 race and the public commuters. |

ruggedtimi:You don’t grow by wondering, you grow by investing. South African government built two F1 tracks, so they can bid. If you don’t invest and bid, you will keep wondering and won’t leave that spot. Borrow money and build is what Dubai and other developed countries do, and that’s why they seems to have left us behind. |

jmoore:it's been over 30 years since the white dominated apartheid regime in SA collapsed, ever since the govt has been under the control of a black govt, what ever infrastructure the white controlled govt may have put in place would have collapsed if not properly maintained and improved upon. Give the SA govt it's flowers in terms of infrastructure and forget all these racist inferiority complex. I bet u if it had been Nigerian leaders that inherited those infrastructure over 30 years ago u will no longer recognize them because they would have fallen into a sorry state. |

I don't see Nigeria winning this bid, not even in 20 years time. One key consideration is health infrastructure and Nigeria lacks that at the moment. F1 is a highly risky sport and provision for health/accident emergency should be in place before every race. Now juxtaposed that with Nigeria's health sector that even the leaders are leaving to seek medical care elsewhere. The insecurity in the north is another factor. |

JaceBlaze: KingCold:u xenophobic guys literally kill ur fellow blacks in Africa and worship the whites and when they talk about the white south africans u get upset? ![]() That grandprix won't be watched by black Africans only white people thanks to y'all xenophobic asses and insecurities so who is really obsessed with white people? |

jaxxy:1. 1. Still playing the xenophobic card in 2025? How about you focus on your rampant tribalism? You hate each other but want to lecture us about hate..sounds like hypocrisy to me 2. We don't kill fellow blacks. Where do you get that? As for the white worship, look closely in the mirror; this thread alone is riddled with examples of how a mere white person is God to you, quit the projection. 3. Yes, the Grand Prix is watched majority of white people; that's the case all over the world, but don't dare act like it's the only thing we've hosted. Remember the FIFA World Cup? Who's the primary supporter of football in South Africa? white people? Besides, there's a large black middle-class interested in such things.. they will attend.. |

Abuja dey learn work. I don't think there is any f1 track in Abuja as I type this. So even if we were to win the bid, we'll have to build from scratch. |

jaxxy:Goodness, these people..Where do you think the proceeds of tourism go to? The government, right? Those proceeds get to build what? roads, hospitals, water, etc.. This is why tourism is one of our biggest earners, we don't depend on one commodity **hint**hint** You don't think.. It's white people, this, white people that.. "xenophobia this, xenophobia that.". you're one dimensional |

jaxxy:The only people who still call whities "master" in 2025 are Nigerians, not South Africans. The only people who believe that their country can only get better if whaite men could recolonize them is Nigerians, not us.Down here in South Africa we drink beers in the same bars with them,go to the same schools, worship under the same church roof and we don't even acknowledge ot think about them like that.We are the only blacks that stayed the longest with white people but those who worship and revere them the hardest are Nigerians..it is a sad😔 Black South Africans will be watching,I am one of them.In fact,I am willing to buy that ticket to watch live and direct. Can give no Fs about what an outsider will be watching on that day. |
