A cousin of mine had been unhealthy, dealing with fibroid out there. We're close and I really need to save her life and support her. There was an urgent need for a surgery and she's a banker. I didn't have much but I asked her how much she had for the surgery. She told me she only had 100k but the surgery was going to be 2 million naira. So, my brother and I sent 2 million to her for the surgery. It wasn't really about the money but we cared about her.

My son some weeks ago sent me 2k, you need to see how many times I thanked him and prayed for him.
Me that can appreciate even #50 provided you're not owing me but a dash. Even when you pay me the money you're owing me, I always say thank you not to talk of dash.

I'm a giver in my own capacity. Even on Facebook, I have come across some people when I was moved emotionally by their narration and some later turned out to be scammers but life goes on.
Last month, I had an occasion and like four guys came through for me to the tune of 100k without asking for anything from them. Such gestures fuel one's willingness to give too

I have a similar funny story, one of my university day friends whom we sort of have kept contact over the years. At some point in the recent past, I was sending N30k to him monthly despite him running a mini hotel and bar for his brother who's in the UK, he also told me he has a sales rep job that was paying him over a N100k.
Anyways to the bone of my story, every time I sent the N30k to his account, he will never acknowledge it or call until I maybe ask him after sometime and it's usually a casual, "seen" response. So in January this year, I decided to stop sending anything to him (sent him N50k in December), he's now lost and unable to ask me directly why I stopped because no one prompted me to start when I did, even if he does, I already redirected it to someone else that's in need of it.
These days, he sends chats like, "we need to talk", "I want to discuss something with you" etc but I just say he should send via message or VN. Ungratefulness is very bad and can really make one lose positions of leverage

I remember dashing someone 50k, then he immediately converted it to euros and told me that as he big reach, na less than 30 euros I dey dash am.

The thing pain me go my bone marrow. I no talk, but in mind, that was the end. Funny thing is that I asked the idiot to return it but he refused. He get high taste, but wants me to afford his taste.

The best way to deal with ingrates is to make sure your support doesnt touch them again, because you insult your hustle if you keep helping them.
