iamoyindamola:I feel he wanted to buh he has this kind of Layback attitude not wanting to sour the Leipzig relationship and bad agency too didn't help ( imagine the agent saying any interested party should go and pay the club required sum before talking to the player like it's the club that employs him not the player) ... |

This Isak guy is very funny. Baba is just showing face after the two clubs trying to court him have spent good money on alternatives. Where does he want to go sef. I want to assume he is trying to get a better contract. Maybe Liverpool will still drop good money for him sha. |

Building from the back. Cristhian Mosquera is a Gunner ✍️ “It’s an opportunity that came up and I couldn’t let it pass me by. I’m joining a historic, massive club. When you arrive here with your family, you really feel the greatness of this place.” “My main position is at centre-back, but I’ve also played at full-back many times. I can play at centre-back on either side, I think I’m a quick and agile player.

iamoyindamola:While Nwaneri can play RW, he should be backing up Odegaard because that position gives him more freedom and the flexibility to roam across the attacking third. I really need Arteta to show some courage with how he manages Odegaard this coming season. Too many times last season where Odegaard played 90 minutes and was unimpactful. Arteta needs to show some courage by pulling Odegaard out for Nwaneri in those instances. I don't know what happened to Odegaard, but he was poor last season for his standard. He became too predictable, hugging the RW, refusing to shoot or help with the press from the top. Since we now have "pant sagging" Noni as backup for Saka, Eze easily takes the LW and helps us strap Martinelli to the bench with iron belt. That way Nwaneri can be the backup for Odegaard and I believe he can push Odegaard. Still one hell of a player but he needs a great season for us this year. |

iamoyindamola:He wanted us even though he didn't feel confident that he'll fit into a fast-paced league like EPL. I don't know which podcast I was watching where they said that Sesko wanted to join Arsenal but let his club and his management take decisions while he watched from the sidelines. He's young inexperienced, not confident or aggressive enough to fight for his future like Gyokeres. I sincerely wish him all the best |

iamoyindamola:I get your point but that doesn't mean he doesn't want Arsenal... Irrespective of what he thinks are special clubs or not Leipzig determines the going rate / fees for him ( especially when Frankfurt is asking for €100m from suitors for Ekitike who Leipzig believes Sesko is better than) they wouldn't budge unless he and his agent force their hand like Ekitike did with Frankfurt even though Newcastle offered more money than Liverpool....If Gyokeres keep mum too his fees would be around £70-80m ![]() His decisions to maintain good relationships with Red Bull organisation ( whatever hold they had on him and his family) over career progression is baffling and will cost him dearly e.g he did the same for United then when they agreed a deal for him with Salzburg for £30m only to choose Liepzig the next day for £17m not to talk of last August U-turn with Arsenal .... |

iamoyindamola:I am with you, for whatever reason, I don’t think Sesko fancied an Arsenal move, as much as Arteta fancied him. I mean, Arteta had been chasing this cat since last season. Past Arsenal, no other big club has made genuine attempts to sign him. This is the most we are reading from Sesko through his agent about a move. With Newcastle set to lose Isak, I can see Newcastle paying anything to get Sesko as his replacement. Newcastle could be a good fit for him, considering there is no expectation to win the league, maybe finish top 4-6 next season. |

iamoyindamola:From unofficial sources, I heard that he wanted to join Arsenal but left everything in the hands of his club and agents with the belief that they'll eventually agree on a deal. That's why he seemed very passive about the move while Gyokeres was aggressively fighting for his spot in the team. I'm sure by now he has learnt that you fight for your future and don't put it in the hands of people that are only after their pockets. He wanted Arsenal but not as desperate as Gyokeres |

MSGAMBLE9:Let's break it down, the article said seskô and Leipzig had gentleman agreement to reduce price for some special clubs Let's not forget 90m was quoted for arsenal, if he really want us he could have come in just the way gyokeres reminded sporting about their agreement Unofficial sources also said the guy was giving us conditions about release clause through his agent Don't also forget personal terms wasn't agreed, that's arsenal first step during transfer dominique: |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by MSGAMBLE9: 8:44am On Jul 25, 2025 |
iamoyindamola:What am saying is gentleman agreement don't always work with select groups of clubs "unfortunate clubs" like I always say here e.g. Napoli, Brighton, Spurs, Portuguese Big 3 and even Liepzig.... Gentleman Agreement is Verbal Agreement which are not tenable or legal contract, Gyokeres and his agent thinks they had one with Sporting for €60m ( £52m) or so but despite his attitude and strikes he ended up going for nearly €85m/£75m Sporting CP wanted ( Arsenal outlay is €73.5m with him and his agent waiving nearly €10min in commission and Salary)... At the end of the day Sporting get nearly the amount it wanted one way or the other You should remember Bale, Caciedo and Mendes all think they had gentleman agreement with Spurs, Brighton and Benfica respectively to play extra year and leave for lesser fees only to shocked...As I stated earlier, I don't think he gave conditions those are rumours but the agent stated publicly that agreement with Leipzig first before Club to player agreement... They clearly don't want to fight Liepzig and I understand, it affects players public perception in the long run like Osihmen, Balotelli debacle has proven...

iamoyindamola:It was his agents pushing for all the release clause and conditions, he didn't involve himself. He wanted to play for Arsenal though he was not as desperate as Gyökeres. This should teach any footballer serious about their career not to leave everything in charge of their agents. |

[quote author=iamoyindamola post=136221653]The point I highlighted with Benny Blanco understand your point but this is tranfers season, a lot of clicks bait abounds... If it's not from Official source or major, reliable and reputable outlets always take it with a pinch of salt, Ornstein and Romano has already denied the existence of conditions for Arsenal from his side when the rumours came out because he doesn't need it e.g. he's 22 years, max Arsenal gives 5 years which will take him to early 27 ( Prime years) which is a massive leverage on his side... [b]Even if there may be - or will be - a strong desire of the player to move to a certain club, we will never force or blackmail RB Leipzig. I believe this is not the right way, because the way you actually exit from the club shows your values. Values that you are bringing into a new club. "I think you should ask Mr. Arteta about that. But I think Sesko could suit many clubs because he has different football skills. He can play alone in attack, with two strikers, a little further back, he has height, speed, technical speed.". Basanovic said of Arsenal interest to Romano Fabrizio He, his agent and Club wrongly believes Arsenal are desperate for a striker and none is better than him on the market, why soiled his perceived personality by fighting the club when the suitors has no alternative than pay ( except for the very expensive Isak for £120m +) ... |

iamoyindamola:Another information I gathered is that Sesko is not sure of himself benching Harvez most of the time, which explains part of his low drive to join Arsenal, whereas Gyokeres is willing and determined to prove himself as the most deserving Arsenal 1st choice CF. |

iamoyindamola:But playing him centrally will give him ability to go for goals directly other than those his failed R2 he usually do trial and error but we’ve moved past that cause the arrival of Gykores and Harvertz striking with Jesus the chances of him playing there is limited |
