When Tinubu supporters talk sometimes I wonder if they have no sense of immediate history or they have lied to themselves until they started believing the lies. The reason why Tinubu is president today is because INEC said they experienced a technical glitch that made them unable to transmit results to IREV from across Nigeria. In so doing Nigerians were blindsided and then through whatever means, INEC came up with 8 million votes for Tinubu. Look at what happened in Rivers State. It has come to be infamously known as the “Rivers Template.” So, in essence, things like “technical glitch” and “Rivers Template” are how Tinubu came to power; whether you you accept it or not doesn’t change this fact. Now, my question is, will INEC tell us they had a technical glitch again in 2027 and resort to manual collation and conjuring up of numbers for whoever they want? Will men Amaechi and co, state and watch Wike repeat the Rivers Template either in Rivers or anywhere in Nigeria in 2027? Do Tinubu supporters think that Nigerians will stand and be told to “go to court” again should INEC choose to be funny again? 6 Likes |

INEC actually transmitted the results to the IREV portal few hours after the glitch so that IREV sentiments should die a natural death abeg. INEC never said there will be online collation and this is where the problem lies 2 Likes |

There are no consequences for bad behaviour. judges deciding election winners instead of voters. if election is rigged in my polling unit i as a voter should be clothed with the required locus to bring criminal and civil charge against persons involved in the result falsification. once thousands of inec staff are in prison and paying civil compensation others would think twice about helping politicians to rig. 1 Like 1 Share |
