I don't care about those rubbish talk of southern and Muslim talk. If Tinubu like, let all his appointees be traditionalists, I don't give a fuckin care. Once they can deliver, to ell with whatever religion or where they come from. |

emkz:who is "your opposition"? what has "your opposition" got to do with the following?: the other clown Kwankwaso was talking about north and south. can these people not come up with more engaging issues to use to criticise instead of always whipping up ethnic and religious sentiments? the standard of measurement is good governance not appointments, religion or ethnicity seunmsg: Now, we can all see the evil anti/ Christian agenda of Atiku and his coalition of haters. Their major agenda is how to remove Christians from government positions.how is your attempt to whip up religious sentiments different from what the Atiku supporter has said? |

AMINDA:There is nothing like religion was the reason why Tinubu is in power now. Nigerians knows who truly won that elections. If Nigerians election is based on religion, you know will govern Nigerian for donkey years. |

Reminds me of Muric .. it's not by the numbers but by the weight of the Ministry.. Is the Minister influencial enough , are they helping their cronies get wealthy, while doing their legitimate job .. if a Ministry has $1.5billion in budget an another has $50million can you compare the level of influence. Obviously the one with $1.5billion does not need to steal because thank you Sir is enough to make him comfortable, if you know what I mean. |

esnbrutality:Southern Unity or not, Nigeria doesn't need another president from the north for now. The damage caused by Northern presidency is enough, the nation is yet to recover. Let the south complete their 8 years before making noise. |

seanfer:As long as you will get your voice to make the same remark when it favours Muslims more, I won't have no problem with this your remark. The same thing happened with Sanwoolu appointments in Lagos state, he practically left Muslims out of his cabinet despite the fact that every mosque campaigned for him and stood solidly behind him. |

LZAA:Unlike you, and as others who know ne on NL will testify to, I work with proven facts that history and events validates. Not personal opinion alone like most. We faced this same situation in 2022 where the poster Odin13 or Asgard23 to 500, plus others like him, kept insisting the North will ensure Tinubu does not emerge APC candidate since, in their opinion, Buhari and other Northern big wig had decided a Northerner must continue beyond the then PMB. I simply told all of them, at the time, that honorable Northerner will rise against Northern supremacist and born-to-rule elements to help Tinubu win because they have ambitions beyond Buhari's exit they will not compromise doing "abobaku" for the then outgoing PMB. I was correct as Northerners overwhelmingly helped Tinubu win the APC primaries and also assisted him to win the 2023 Presidential election. Same thing will happen in 2027 because permanent interest of many almost always defeats the harmful and selfish ambitions of one individual and a few others behind said individual. I.e Atiku. In 2027, most Northerners with ambitions of gaining greater future political success, they know they need the Yorubas assistance for, beyond Atiku's toxic ambitions that will damage that very ambition they are chasing, will do the honorable thing to reject Atiku and help Tinubu win. |

AMINDA:May God bless you sir. Don't just mind those hypocrites. Why wasn't there southern unity slogan when all the northern govs were running around campaigning for Tinubu in 2023? If they were sincere, the southern unity song should have been sung since 2022. |
Media consultant to Atiku Abubakar, Abdul-Aziz Na’ibi Abubakar has accused president Bola Tinubu of favoring only Christians in his government. He is now indirectly calling for Muslims to rise up and take over the country from Tinubu’s Christian government. Now, we can all see the evil anti/ Christian agenda of Atiku and his coalition of haters. Their major agenda is how to remove Christians from government positions. I wonder why some persons can never be contented in life. The President and Vice President are Muslims and they are appointing some Christians into their government and someone is busy complaining. |

esnbrutality:You may be conventionally intelligent but you lack emotional intelligence, pragmatic grasp of pivotal issues and the capacity to think critically. Whether you appreciate it or not, perhaps because leaders themselves never voice it , the fact is that Nigeria could be in very serious and existential trouble, that would make the Rwanda ethnic genocide strife appear like childplay, if rotation of power between the North and South is not strictly adhered to. Especially because of the North's uncompromising demand for power we all know can involve a lot of terrible things not to be mentioned her Jonathan, due to no fault of his, inherited the turn of the North. He had already spent 5 years in power that Northerners felt belonged to them had Yar Adua not died. That five years Jonathan had in power, as at the 2015 election, was enough in their opinion and the further four Jonathan was seeking, to make it nine years in power for the South, was simply not tenable. Their hawks were already using terrorism to battle Nigeria seriously, under GEJ, after he won the 2011 electuon, because they felt the South had dishonorably usurped power belonging to the North. All leaders, Northerners or Southerners, knew what had to be done to keep the peace and forward motion of Nigeria. When you were a child whose world and views were simple and naive, same as the life of a lot of ordinary Nigerians remain simple and uncomplicated, you did not know what your father had to do to put food on the table that may have included unpleasant things he engaged in to make sure you fed. Same way most ordinary Nigerians, without appreciation of the dynamics of regional power play and balancing, don't know what sensible and reasonable leaders had to do so we do not become Afghanistan or Somalia when it will then be same emotional folks like you who'd be crying when we are at that stage. Tinubu is a hero and a force for good. Take it or leave it. No better show of this than how GEJ, your sort claim he wronged, is on good terms with Tinubu today while PEJ, Jonathan's wife, is passionately and openly supportive of the Presidency of Tinubu. They both know who their enemies are and those who did what they had to do in the best interest of all. This is why it is you emotional people crying more than the bereaved today rather than GEJ, his wife and many fellow Ijaws , to include their most fiery like Tompolo and Asari Dokubo etal, behind Tinubu today. |
When a Southerner Goodluck Jonathan was President, who rallied opposition against him, when the North were projecting BUHARI? It was the SW.!! Then the mention of Southern Unity..was irrelevant abi? Now the same North is behind Atiku and you are looking for useless Southern Unity after your TINUBU has alienated everybody from the same South? Do you think that people are blind to your shenanigans? Yoruba Man, just support your TINUBU in peace and don't think your southern UNITY banter holds any meaning. The only thing I support in your long epistle is that NIGERIA should disintegrate. ![]() Apart from that your region doesn't speak for other southern regions. ![]() [/quot And you also can not speak for other southerners. |

esnbrutality:Was is southern unity that got him his first victory? What is the usefulness of your southern unity if he won earlier election without it? Tinubu doesnt need igbos votes to win Nigeria's election. APC has won elections three times without it. Tinubu will win reelection without any southern unity. Stop crying more than the bereaved ![]() |

ovie8200:The Hausa man below, who resides, in the USA concluded same as the bolded in your post. All pragmatically intelligent, progressive and benevolent-minded Southerner will never support the North, especially a Fulani, gaining power in 2027. Never. Only Southerners that hatred for others has damaged their reasoning, beyond repair, will wish and work for an Atiku, rather than a Peter Obi or Sowore, to depose Tinubu in 2027. What the Hausa man below states, shows how imperative it is for Southerners to always insist on their full 8 years in power to neutralise what will predictably be 8 years of retrogressive, ethno-religiously bigoted and communist-like gradualism from the North. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEczxfZ1s7Q?si=XRfk9zDqPGSgLs9t |

emkz:So people like Akpabio and co are christians? What exactly has Akpabio and co don to promote Christianity in Nigeria? Christianity don suffer for una hand. Anyone who wasn't born a Muslim is automatically assumed to be a Christian. Even those whose actions and behavior negate the tenets of Christianity. And you think that any right thinking christian will vote for any of those guys currently in power? |

The mod that pushed this to Frontpage with this title is a Tinubu media aide. And I'm suspecting Nairaland is pro Tinubu. This guy only made a post celebrating how a Muslim - Muslim government is still very inclusive and the fear politicians promoted during last elections is invalid. He on his own has an agenda sha, which I suspect is telling Christians that 20 years of Muslim only presidency isn't bad. |
