Let me start by clarifying that I love the man PO I never had a PVC or voter card before 2023, I did it because of him, and I voted too. As for 2027, there is still much unsaid and alot will be unraveling in the coming months for the public but so far, people who have foresight can connect the dots already as to how our politically evil class have planned already to suppress the voice of ballot votes for them to continue their wickedness into the next decade. One has to wonder why no one but AA and his master OBJ saw something about PO before anyone else. That 2019 proved to be a glimmer of hope but the northern cabals under buhari had a bunch of die hard voters who didn't mind being poor as long as buhari won again. Shortly before 2023, PO left AA in the pdp with emperor wike to slug it out. He felt he could challenge the system with real plain votes. Well we all know how it went. Whatever happened in the PDP at that time has not been publicly disclosed for citizens to know why PO defected. PO has remained conspicuously silent on the why he didn't remain with someone he had worked with so hard in the elections before then. Who ever advised him did him a lot of bad. He may have made a statement but that statement has put him in a tight spot of now or never as we approach 2027. Just like Audu recently disclosed how, OBJ personally had him sign resignation because of a statement... statements can make one feel they have had the world to hear them out but whether the statement gives you victory or a loss in the end is another thing entirely. I believe PO still owes Nigerians at large on the why he decided to pull out of PDP! Was is a wike issue or was an AA problem? I believe he still owes us that answer. The zoning was chaired by former Governor of my state Ortom (a very treacherous fellow of wike) After looking at all that has happened since 1999 SW 8yrs + NE 8yrs NW+ SS 8yrs SS + NW 6yrs NW + SW 8yrs And currently going into 2027 SW +NE 4yrs One would wonder if there's is any formula behind this as to zoning. And if at all there was, there are two zones conspicuously missing...NC and SE This to me doesn't look like a zoning arrangement when two zones are systematically pushed out by the remaining zones. So the question still remains...was it that AA and Wike ganged up against PO or was it Wike that wanted another SS turn? Looking at the fact that his man Ortom was the charman of the zoning committee... Looking at the above, the only persons that had a claim to the presidency based on zoning was AA (a soft claim since they already enjoyed VP) and PO( a strong claim) or any other NC person who co-incedentally was the "hungry man" with the knife and bread sharing the portions for those who may have eaten already. Ortom would later form a G5 pact with wike against AA after AA outsmarted the SS scheming. PO ofcourse was already out by then... So it automatically shows Ortom who was the chairman of the zoning had a preferred candidate, which wasn't one among either of PO or AA! Check the results of the 2023 election 6m PO 6.9AA and 8m BAT Then check the Stats for the election and you will see where PO lost and where AA lost. I would not want to talk about how BAT won cos in the real sense of it, he didn't win, he "emerged" because of a split between PO and AA For those who would want to argue, the margin was the smallest for any national elections so far in our history since 1999 One would have hoped that some lessons were learnt after a lot was also spent to the crux on the matter in the court built by the system. A court already bastardized and humiliated in public! Coming now to the main issues at hand as we head into 2027... A coalition has now taken root with AA and PO at the fore front of it but the public commentary seems skewed on the need for a rift between AA and PO more than there needs to be against the incumbent who thesame commentators say is their oppressor! This perhaps was just commentary by gen z at first but looking closely at it now, one who has the foresight can see the old hawks at work again behind these commentaries...... It took OBJ and AA for PO to have a national outlook. He may have done well as a Gov but no one thought about someone from Anambra, period! The emperor wike stated before the election PO cannot win even if he was given PDP that's why he left. The hawks would later rain down fire and brimstone by calling him a social media candidate. They said Twitter doesn't vote. They called him a structureless candidate bound to fail! They knew there was no way he gets passed INEC and The court without getting crushed...and he was. PO announced coalition... Datti came on air with fire against AA instead of a supposed support for a coalition... Abure, who was LP chairman just held a meeting with wike Abure held his NEC with Datti in attendance, declaring for presidency. Fayose just said LP will come second in 2027...makes no mention of ADC but sumptuously say BAT needs a "few" northern votes to win 2027 Flip back to 2023, BAT needed 5.3m northern votes out of 8m total to emerge! So what has changed suddenly? Where does BAT get his 5.3 this time around? Your guess as good as mine...SS with wike akpabio Edo and the delta gang! Aisha and co suddenly cannot sleep because of AA ... Not BAT again! Obidients cannot sleep because of AA...not because of BAT! Atiku Abubakar is now the problem of Nigeria! ATiku Abubakar is now the friend PO must not Keep. He is now the enemy number one for PO! As if that's not all needed to connect it...PDP that dismissed PO without a structure in 2023 now offering PO ticket. Then comes Prof. Jerry Gang again saying it out load they want PO in PDP Thesame people who have never for once liked PO or given him even moral support now want to handover ticket to him. Same people that never saw the need for SE to emerge through zoning! Ortom just said he likes and also worked for PO even in 2023, but he as chairman of zoning refused to zone it to SE! Hahahah If PO doesn't seek true reflection of the last few years and decide to swiftly weed out sell outs and fake friends who never saw him good enough for anything...he will make the greatest and most laughable mistake in Nigeria's history! It will be terrible for the nation at large looking at how APC has decided to treat Nigerians. What PO should do is to take decicive actions and work day and night with the coalition. A parent sometimes has to take strong decisions even if the kids don't understand the why behind it, else he will be blamed as the failed parent in the future! A lot is at stake and BAT is not going to give it away easily...Gen Z may not understand it right now. Maybe they will after the deed is already done and another decade is wasted in their lives again! APC was a monumental mistake in our history and must be weeded out! Be it those who created it not! Since 2015, Our country keeps sliding into abyss, no positive outlook They keep blaming others instead of working They don't have national policies on anything Under OBJ/Atiku we had IMF loans cancelled and free, we hand economy growing and strong foreign appearance. Our banking and telecom sectors got their birth from that administration. I can well remember even as a kid the 7point agenda of yar adua (his soul rest in peace) His vision 20/20 Day and night it was his jingle on tv and radios What has APC brought? PROPAGANDA AND BLAMES day and night on Tv and radios. Nothing to show for it. What they want to do with power nobody knows... It became "EMILOKAN" then heading into 2027 it has become " IT IS THE TURN OF THE SOUTH" PO has a big decision to make, one that requires sacrifice, before those northern votes can salvage what is left of our country again because as far as 2027 is concerned, the SS has shamelessly sold the rest of the south out because of some pieces of silver. And the SW, can you blame them? They will vote 90% for him again if they don't, they still have their way to rig without questions. The north is the only path for PO and a better Nigeria even if Gen Z will not understand the math behind it right now. |

kmst it is the turn of the South is not a constitutional agreement to start with the fundamentals. So how did it becoming a quest of the turn of 'the South? Which parties agreed to this notion and which one truly believed in it and put it into action? And whose fault is it that the South East is not able to make it their turn? |

Your naivety is obvious. Obi agreed to be Atiku's running mate in 2019 because it was North's turn. He contested in 2023 and will contest in 2027 for president because it is the turn of the south. See how you wrote a novel because you lack basic knowledge of political environment in Nigeria. |

I talked about NC and SE Why haven't you commented on NC? You want to spin the argument quickly to one against SE? Ask about NC too! ![]() When you ask, answer the questions by yourself! Then come back and give reasonable explanations as to why APC has flooded Nigeria's brains with " turn of the south" mantra even though like you said, is not a constitutional arrangement. If you had 6 sons and 4 have eaten but you want to hear the cry of the remaining 2 before you hesitantly give them then it shows how biased you are And if there's supposed to be no zoning as constitutional as it is, then APC, wike and the political system should let us be! All the southern turn mantra propaganda is to later hand it over to BAT Softmirror: |

You wrote a whole book praising PO has if he did a single thing as a governor in Anambra State. Write this down, North Central will produce president before the SE will produce again. Mind you, if you really understand how Nigeria politics arena is working you should know what gave PO the privilege to gather 6 million votes in 2023. Take it or you leave it, he will hardly get half of the vote in the next election God keep us alive. |

madridguy:The writer is one of those believers of buhari is Nnamdi Kanu narratives. They can be so delusional. They are still shying a way and jitter to call Atiku out for chasing PO aways from PDP instead they are putting the blame on Wike. Now that ATIKU is alone with PO in ADV now without wike.why is he not handingover the ticket to Peter OBI?...They are so deluded in that part of the country |

What was the difference between BAT's 8m and PO 3rd with 6m Or BAT's 8m with AA 6.9m That's too low for a national election winner Other winners have always had a much greater margin. Any little political move could have upturned the balance If it's governorship, one could understand victorDanladi: |

Atiku and Obi should also begin to tell Nigerians how they plan to reform the electoral system when they are elected into Aso rock. For instance, we have no genuine opinion polls to predict the results of 2027. Everybody is online with all manner of wild opinions. How do Atiku and Obi plan to achieve a world class, dependable electoral system complete with checks and balances and judicial independence? If they plan to continue the current Apc way, then it’s goodbye from we the intellectuals. |
