The only reason they voted Atiku in the past was because of the PDP structure that was dominant party in the region. Thanks to Atiku greed, that structure has now been collapsed into APC. In the event of Atiku scheming Peter Obi out of the coalition and a second ballot becomes necessary between Tinubu and Atiku, south east will repay Atiku’s treachery by voting Tinubu in the rerun. It’s even a no brainer really. Tinubu will clear the south and north central, then divide the north west. Easy victory.

Lest you forget, the reason Tinubu won the last election was because the north decided to vote for him. He got more than 60% of his votes from the north and now his own south. Now the north are no more being him, Obi already has the SE, SS don't like Tinubu (only reason he won in port harcourt was because of Wike's rigging).

I am talking about the main presidential election and even in the primaries he was running against hillary. Delegates in America vote based on debate performance and capacity not monetary or political influences.

That's why bushes kids don't advance in Republican primaries despite influences.

State Tinubu can win convincingly are
Ekiti (easily rigged and Governor can easily manipulate the outcome, also heavyweights in the state already in his camp)
Ondo (same as Ekiti with just a little tougher to formulate results)
Osun (most likely 60 percent with Adeleke maybe 90 percent).
Ogun (70 percent at most)
Oyo ( he can't more than 60 percent here even with the help of the incumbent Governor. Also quite tough to Governor to determine the results)
Lagos ( even with all his foot soldiers and machinery he can't get 50 percent, very little room to manipulate results in his favour).
So it's not an easy ride yet for him even I'm southwest

Obi and Elrufai ticket will seal the end of Tinubu's political empire. One is massively supported by majority of the Southern Nigeria while the other is a radical Fulani intellectual who fears nothing and can step into Buhari's political shoes quickly. Obi does 8 years to conclude Southern Nigeria 8 years, four of which Tinubu is taking and then El rufai succeeds him. It is a political game the opposition should look to and they will defeat Tinubu before 10 am on election day.

If Tinubu or APC is returned in 2027, that's the end of Obi's presidential aspiration. It will also prolong any pathway to southeast ascention to the presidency. This is simple commonsense.
