Any smart Nigerian would know that this amnesty prorgramme is a huge scam and will not work 1 bit on the long run.

You need to see the kinds of weapons they bring to the amnesty venue, old rusty guns, locally fabricated powder guns and machetes, whereas the real weapons like fresh AK47and submachine guns are still in their armoury somewhere.

If the government tries to stop it now, they'll start blowing pipelines and shouting our "oyel". As far as I'm concerned, every region of Nigeria has contributed immensely to the current state of the country and nobody wants the truth as long as they're making money.

The hunt for people of the south-south should cease already. The Yorubas and Hausas are always after the southerners as if they are the real thieves in Nigeria. Ibori, Patience, Alamiyesigha, Diezani etc. These people actually have the oil that feeds Nigeria. The oil blocks are owned by Yoruba and Hausa men. Imagine Folarunsho Alakija all the way from her village in the west parading herself as the richest or second richest black/African woman in the world. Yet, she gets her money from the oil blocks in the south. Patience Jonathan is still fighting for $5m and they keep ridiculing her.
Babangida and Abacha almost drained the Nigerian coffer and people pretend as if they are blind. Abuja was built on oil money, the vast part of Lagos built on oil money even though they deny that(as if it weren't the oil money that rotates the economy). Folarunsho and all owners of the oil blocks in Niger delta have not invested the money in the south-south. They have taken the money far away leaving oil pollution to kill the local fishermen. All oil company headquarters are in Lagos. Lagos does not have oil. All they do is dip their suction nozzle in the south-south and whisk the money to the North and the west. Yoruba and Hausa men dominate and head all oil companies and yet they will not leave the poor south-southerners alone.
They pronounce this amnesty as if they are doing the south-southerners a favor. Develop the land that you steal from and give the money to the real owners. Stop stifling the Niger-deltans and calling them bad names. Tinubu and his cohort (the saints today) were the same PDP-share-the-money of yesterday.
Stop headlining recovered weapons every day as if they stole something. Why is it fair for the Hausa and Yoruba politicians to steal and go free while south-southerners will be brought to shame every time?
