Obi for now is an ordinary Nigerian, therefore ordinary Nigerian can't visit Edo but must inform the governor. Oga, there are big challenges in Edo why not face it.

As it happens, there is no governor that will be happy if any of those three turn up in their state without informing them.

No one is witch hunting Peter Obí, he is the one breaking protocol and he needs to change his ways.

Akpakomezer will not accept such a transgression and shouldn't.

As a former governor, Peter Obi can never be an ordinary Nigerian again, he is "politically exposed" so should be mindful of his movements and should follow protocol. That is not too much to ask plus it's simple curtesy.

There is no part of the constitution that says anyone should inform a governor before going to the state they governed.
Whether a governor is happy or not is of less importance because the constitution outrightly said that there is freedom of movement to any part of the country, it never said "terms and conditions applied"

Telling an individual he must take permission before entering a state is an infringement on his constitutional right.
Edo state is not a personal domain and no governor has the right to stop any citizen of going to the state.

This is nothing but a political witchunting, we all know but will never admit.
