What tends to happen is every tribe will have different names for all the things you mentioned. Na only the lingua Franca go unite us. But I guess you make a good point. You can't stop people from changing names and I believe it is ok. Northerners have a drink called Soborodo. When I was in Lagos Yorubas call it Zobo. And I am sure a lot of them don't know it's real name.
