I was all through that night praying and believing that our girls will do it and they later did it. I’m no Yoruba, but I’m sure 1000% that if a notable Yoruba person post something like that on SM he is sure to get a lot of backlash from fellow Yorubas.

A Yoruba person says something negative about Nigeria. Because he/she is Yoruba, Tinubu supporters say “It’s their personal opinion and they’re entitled to it”.

An Igbo person says something negative about Nigeria. Because he/she is Igbo, they use it as an opportunity to amplify their hate against Igbos. They start claiming that this is the opinion of most Igbos, they’ll look for anything and everything to pin in on Igbos.

We have seen this situation play out over and over again, even with Peter Obi’s Presidency. Rather than attack the politician like other Nigerians do, they bring tribe into it, going back to the civil war to make it as tribal as possible. That is their strategy for politics

Even our institutions are not spared anymore. JAMB is compromised, and other institutions will follow.

Nigerians need to stop them before they destroy the country beyond repair.

Speaking of the forum, even before the anti spam bot was introduced, we always respect others opinions hence not getting banned unnecessarily.

You praised Buhari for 8 years as the best thing to happen to Nigeria, then turned around to say he wrecked the economy, so that Tinubu will look like a savior. I was forced to comment like this yesterday because I was so shocked when I saw on the football comment section when just monitoring situations lots of known guys here making tribalist comments and turned everything to hatred. Even if you don't like your president, display your frustration in politics section but as it is now, it has turned to madness for most of them.
