Alamkiir:That's exactly what they're trying to do. In Politics, they call it Politispeak/Politicanese. Jargon speech filled with unnecessary words to confuse people. How Nigerian media got on the fad and why they keep doing it is what I don't understand. |

⚡The President of Serbia denied the words of the Minister for European Integration Nemanja Starović that the country might join the anti-Russian sanctions. "Minister Starović expressed himself somewhat differently, but certainly carelessly. Serbia will not impose sanctions against Russia; we will continue to pursue an independent policy, although many do not like it either in the West or in the East," said Aleksandar Vučić. The head of state also touched on the topic of Serbian arms exports, noting that Belgrade "has not exported a single bullet since June 30," reports RT in the Balkans.

23jerryking:Nigerians are very naive, I have asked people what's the difference between PDP and APC and the rest of the political parties. Like what are their ideologies ? What makes the APC or ADC standout from PDP ? Sometimes they are just the same people, moving from one party to another and yet my naive Nigerians think they are different. Just a bunch of old men trying to get super rich at the expense of the gullible masses. It'll take something drastic to correct these abominations we call politicians or they might end up bleeding our coffers dry. |

usmanpogo:Getting rid of them might be a step too far. I don't know what you mean by "getting rid" but I am sure you don't mean extermination 🤣🤣.Well, they need to be gotten rid of cos they planted this current ideology in the masses. A re orientation will work better. There doesn't seem anything like a tangible hope for Nigeria in the next 20 years. Re orientations take years to manifest. |

Gbadebo19:At the rate these leeches are bleeding us out, we'll be lucky if we still have a country in 20 years Nigeria is not at war but people are dying needlessly We are a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. I think it's too late for re-orientation, the percentage of people that trust the government are really slim. |

BREAKING: Statement from the Yemeni Armed Forces regarding the announcement of the fourth escalation phase of the naval blockade on the Zionist enemy and the targeting of all ships whose owning companies deal with the ports of occupied Palestine. “Given the rapid developments in occupied Palestine, specifically in the Gaza Strip, including the continuation of the war of genocide and the martyrdom of thousands of our brotherly Palestinian people as a result of the aggression and siege that has been ongoing for months, and amid shameful Arab, Islamic, and international silence. Yemen, in the face of the continuation of these horrific, brutal, and unprecedented massacres in our contemporary history, finds itself faces a religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibility toward the oppressed who are subjected daily and around-the-clock, to killing and destruction by air, land, and sea bombardment, as well as to starvation and thirst due to the stifling and severe siege on steadfast and proud Gaza, which is unacceptable to any human being, let alone Arabs and Muslims. Accordingly, the Yemeni Armed Forces, relying on Allah Almighty and trusting in Allah, have decided to escalate their military support operations and begin implementing the fourth phase of the naval blockade against the enemy. This phase includes targeting all ships belonging to any company that deals with the ports of the Israeli enemy, regardless of the nationality of that company, and in any location within the reach of our armed forces. The Yemeni Armed Forces warn all companies to cease their dealings with Israeli enemy ports starting from the moment this statement is announced. Otherwise, their ships, regardless of their destination, will be targeted anywhere that can be reached or within the reach of our missiles and drones. The Yemeni Armed Forces call on all countries, if they want to avoid this escalation, to pressure the enemy to halt its aggression and lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip. There is no free person on this earth who can accept what is happening. The actions of the Yemeni Armed Forces express our moral and humanitarian commitment to the injustice against the brotherly Palestinian people, and all our military operations will be ceased immediately upon the cessation of aggression against Gaza and the lifting of the blockade. Sana'a, Safar 2, 1447 AH July 27, 2025 AD. Issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces” |

Alamkiir:I have mixed feeling about the feasibility of this decision, but it strengthens my respect for the Houthis. There are far more powerful countries in the region that could have put a stop to this genocide without a single bullet but they're just too useless and greedy. That Yemen, the one of the poorest countries in the world, is willing to absorb airstrikes for people that may not even like them due to religion is something that deserves commendation. |
