Nigerians continue to watch these extremists called Tinubu supporters as they run their ethnic campaigns of calumny against Igbos which has been the epicenter of their so-called conservatism.

When it eventually backfires, the same people posting these will still come back with their alternate accounts tomorrow and SWEAR they never did such.

Just like when a child steals snacks and you saw them on the surveillance camera, you know exactly what they did, but when you ask them, they SWEAR they didn’t steal and you just smile and let them go, then they think they were really smart lol. helinues knows what I’m talking about.

Gaslighting, manipulation, hypocrisy, and the real tribalism, No tribe in this entity called Nigeria has all these traits more than the Igbos. This is the bitter truth.

That is why it is always important to critically note and follow history. When Ahmadu Bello said and I quote, "we the northerners are not alive to their responsibilities", I felt that in my bone. Same way I also felt that the North were being selfish or were just trying to exercise their dominance in the Nigerian political realm. Little did I know that he and the foremost Northerners had seen the Igbos for what they truly are.

This renaming of streets of a thing that the Westerners are now up to, is probably the most subtle thing they'll ever do to project back their dominance over their lands and protection of their heritage and culture, at the very least. This Eastern folks should really be ready for much more and I repeat, there is nothing that will happen to them that they haven't done to others.

Now to my main point and issue I have with these folks- tribalism. This word has been a word each of them have mastered well, but without understanding what it truly means to be tribalistic. The Igbos are the typical pots that call the kettle black and it is unfortunate that they have no one to ever call them to order and set them on the right path. If the last election is anything to go by, the Igbos exhibited severe tribalism and the statistics of the votes will always prove this. All in the bid to have their kinsmen in power, they are ready to even turn on their mothers. Not to mention what the international community thinks about them. And the stewpid Biafra they all keep clamoring for, someone needs to educate these folks that the Yorubas are not their obstacles as to attaining that. Infact, if this country is divided today, the Yorubas stand to be the biggest gainers and I am sure the politically informed ones will concur.

But as it is, and from now on, the Yorubas have assimilated and digested Ahmadu Bellos statement of 1960 and will now become dead to their responsibilities. No matter what. No one ever hated them, but the hatred embedded in them from childbirth will never ever allow them to see the good in other tribes. Yoruba this, Yoruba that, and yet they refuse to leave a region where they feel "threatened".

In conclusion, I have started a book on these Eastern neighbors of ours and this book is intended to go as viral as possible. We will only respect those who respects us. When they voted for Obasanjo, the werent tribalistic.

When they voted Yaradua even though Ojukwu an Igboman was on the Ballott Igboman was on the ballot they werent Tribalistic.
When they voted Goodluck Jonathan, they werent tribalistic.
So because Igbos rejected two calamities Buhari and Tinubu both of whom.have proven to be terrible disasters thats why you branded Igbos tribalistic?

This writer is really on drugs again, he dare went back as far as 1960 to tell us what Ahmadu Bello said about the Igbos, the same Igbos that fought war just to break out of Nigeria but the same people complaining about them won't still allow them to go.

The op out of his myopic reasoning still claimed that Igbos want to vote their own son as the president but Igbos voted for Obasanjo, voted for Yaradua, voted for Jonathan and I wonder if all these names I mentioned are all igbos too.

Igbos are now disrespectful just because they won't align with your own idea of politicking, this also earn them a journey to the lagoon which a whole Oba threatened them with in prior to 2015 election.

That thing wey una dey find una go soon see am one day, you all should keep beating the drums of war. When it's time to dance we will all dance it together.

Don't mind them. Whenever they make that statement I just laugh lol 😂😆

Imagine saying we are tribalistic because we refused to vote for failures, they think we are wired like them to be servants to their leaders wether good or bad forever
Re: The Igbos And Their True Identity. by flokii:
Ahmadu Bello was the Premier of North so he spoke his mind about the attrocities of the Igbo folks in the North, how they filled themselves into all the Northern civil service, public schools etc. till he (Ahmadu Bello) came and changed everything by introducing "Northerner first and last policy". It was so bad to the point that you could get to LGA office in North and find Igbo secretary there (what will never happen in the East). Where will the Hausa even see job to do in Igboland?.

Akintola who was Premier in the West voiced out against similar thing Ahmadu Bello complained about, how Igbos were filling all the jobs in Western region with their Igbo people, all the Unis in Western region had Igbo VCs with employment ratio of 95:5 in favour of Igbos. The man started the "Yoruba ronu" call that has now gained traction today among Yoruba conservatives

They were everywhere, in everyone's space, yet they locked their own region with giant padlock that no tribe could access talk more of getting office jobs to do.. is that fair?

Note that both Ahmadu Bello and Akintola were killed alongside other prominent Nigerians in the 15th January 1966 coup, yet they say it's not an Igbo coup. Why and how did Azikiwe escape?

Yorubas must ronu o.. this cheating can't continue. Let everyone go and fix their region and stop looking for avenue to disenfranchise other people in their ancestral lands.

It's only in the Igbo mind that the person that wins is a failure, and the person that loses is a success. It's now clear why they always support the losing side.

Shame on British racists and lord lugard for joining people who don’t know how to progress and progressive igbos in same country. Imagine people who stole presidency and all political offices from igbos, beneficiaries of Igbo ouster from Nigerian leadership by British racists and they are still weeping to Igbos as if na igbos dey rule them…this is shameful seriously

You are talking about 5 states, there are independent countries in Africa that are not up to 2 million people. Gambia is just 1.8 million people, not even up to population half the population of Enugu State

If Nigerians like you feel that Igbos are only Indigenous to 5 states, support the call for those states to get referendum and exit Nigeria. We are all but the colonial creation of the white man, they brought us together, and it has been fight without end

No one cares about your cock n bull story. We do not want Obi, every Yoruba n Nigerian that want to vote Tinubu for whatever reason as that constitutional n democratic right.

It is not all of us that can be bullued into voting a failed pathetic senseless story telling pandora criminal [Peter Obi] out of bigotry.

It is laughable when you defend your tribe without any iintellugenxe. Igbos voted Obasanjo when the only alternative was Falae .

How do you defend giving Tofa who nobody knows even today long after 1993 election over 50% of your votes against reknowned philanthropist like MKO Abiola ?! I

If that is not tribalistic n bigotry then the dictionary need to be rewritten.

Macphenson:
So because Ignos refused to vote an arrogant failure like Tinubu that makes them tribalistic?

When they voted for Obasanjo, the werent tribalistic.

When they voted Yaradua even though Ojukwu an Igboman was on the Ballott Igboman was on the ballot they werent Tribalistic.
When they voted Goodluck Jonathan, they werent tribalistic.
So because Igbos rejected two calamities Buhari and Tinubu both of whom.have proven to be terrible disasters thats why you branded Igbos tribalistic?

You are pathetically delusional.

I challenge you if you think Igbos are voting because of tribal sentiments, let APC field the following people
Rochas Okorocha
Orji Uzor Kalu
Hope Uzodinma
T.A Orji
Okezie Ikpeazu
Let us check how tribalistic Igbos are.

The owner of this platform allowed this kind of post but when someone tries saying anything about yoruba...they will block it.

What message does this try to portray if not hate supported by agent running this platform enabling tribalism.

No wonder no one talks anything good about nairaland other than using the platform to embolden some select few who are bent on causing animosity, frictions amongst citizens and no one is saying anything about it.

One day,u will look for people to grace ur platform but only left with bigots that would end distracting u.

Even Akintola also said same about Igbos, the video is on YouTube.
Nigerians needs to know what the first VC of the university of Ibadan did, that made Akintola as the then premier of western region, to challenge him.
Is this not the reason why Akintola had to also die in the 1966 coup?.
Anything that's happening to the Igbos today in Nigeria is retribution.
Arigi segi to ba segi, ori ara e lo ma fi ru.
The funny thing is, na Igbo dey cry pass.
Unfortunately this format don cast, no one gives a hoot.

What I never understood about characters like these is why do they want to be with Igbos in one country? He doesn't like Igbos, but he hates the mention of Biafra. Has he ever seen any Igbo hating on Oduduwa Republic or Arewa Republic?

You don't like Igbos, but you want to be with them in one country. Incredible
Keep consoling yourself, day don break.
Wake up and smell the coffee.
