NYSc is a standard arrangement... 3 square meals, good bed to sleep, and training on camp and it's just for 3 weeks but y'all are making a big deal out of it....some of u are even dragging skirt and religion into the issue...

When they make it compulsion military service like North Korea which special treatment will you ask for that no other soldier is getting??

In case u don't know...It's already in discussion with the shortage of man power in the army

It reminds me of what happened recently in the WAFCON. The Moroccan team had a defender who was dressed "religiously" and she was the worst player on the team. She was directly responsible for giving away two of the goals that Morocco conceded.

Does the paramilitary and military have skirt option for women who are in the service?

The court ought to also declare what activities skirts can be used for. Are they going to be climbing trees with skirts? Female soldiers should also be allowed to wear skirts on religious ground.

If you are not comfortable with the dressing code, you're free to opt out. It's not by force. The dress code must be respected.

I don't always like people that take religion over and above their country forgetting that they're first and foremost a Nigerian before religion was introduced to them.

My take is that Nigeria should be first in our thoughts.

The judge is not serious.

The skirt will eventually turn to mini skirt. Let the traditionalists also make their own demands. It is what you get when you think too highly of yourselves you start asking for special treatments; or think people of other faiths who had wore the official uniform for several decades without complaints - despite it may conflict with their beliefs - are stupid.

Institutions and organisations are usually kept as neutral as possible for a reason, and it is time for us to find out why.

And who told you all women leave their homes during the day in Morocco? You obviously know nothing about human and physical geography. Desert climate is hot days and cold noghts. So Arabs have built their lives around their desert climate; they stay home noon to afternoon. And in modern times they use air-conditioned cars and offices.

While I agree that religion should not be brought to youth service, I disagree on the not compulsory part

You can almost bet that many female corpers will abuse it exposing much of their thighs...if the margin level of the skirt is not specified and strictly enforced in this season of ever-increasing-n.a.k.e.d.n.e.s.s!
