I have a 750w PC and an 1080p monitor connected to a 2.5kva UPS.
Plus an induction cooker 100w - 1800w (cooking time at most an hour, once to 3 times a day depending on if there's light). I also own a small fridge. 2 ring lights and a small standing fan
I do plan on adding a TV and maybe a deep freezer in the nearest future

What power of generator should I get
I'll be grateful for the help

Good morning professors, I have a haer thermocool Bobo that I tried putting on yesternight but it'll come up and when I try to change over to gen, it'll turn off or the circuit breaker goes off. It sometimes sounds as if a big load was put on it whereas I have put everything off. Used tester to test the negative wire and I could see small power in it. What is the problem?

Been months since I used my gen

I fueld it today and tried starting it but it didn't start

I changed the oil and it started

But it doesn't last up to a minute it will go off itself.

What are the implications of high-ing and low-ing a generator?

I have an SPG 4000E2. Used it to pump water this morning and high-end it so it can power the 1.5hp pump. I want to know if there are implications.

Also, the usual loads I use the gen for is just lighting, blending and device charging. The noise from the gen is quite high. I'm thinking it's because the load capacity is too low. What if I low the gen to reduce the noise and match with the small load capacity? What could be the worst case scenario?

Please house, is there a technician around Satellite Town and environs (Lagos), that can come help fix my ITEC generator (manual start)? It starts at once, but shuts down almost immediately. Sometimes, it runs for 10 minutes maximum, but makes that sound generators make when it is out of fuel; meanwhile, there's fuel in the tank. A couple of guys around said it's a carburetor problem, but the unique make of the generator means that the carburetor is not on the market.

I have chatted with ITEC several times, but the process of getting help from them is like applying for US Visa. Even taking the generator to their facility at Gbagada is a logistics nightmare.

Can anyone help? Please reply this post. Thanks.

Ok. I managed to resolve mine. If you feel your caburator needs change, I also have a spare caburator incase you want it.

Then also lose out your tank, you will find something like a filter there, open it properly.

Will be expecting the feedback. Have a good year!

I later bought Senci SC6800IS(4KVA) inverter generator. So far, I am enjoying it. I used 3litres fuel for 5hrs:30mins. While powering 200ltrs freezer and 120Ltrs refrigerator, and seven 100watt light.

is it still working well?? can this carry 1hp inverter ac??

I got someone to clean the carburetor using one of those cleaning agents and he did the same to the tank after dismantling it.

Gen appears to be working fine now. Just that the choke has to be half open instead of fully open. But I guess half bread is better.

I want to sell my elipaq generator, it's a key start gen, and can power fridge and AC. Will drop pictures tomorrow when I get home. Anyone interested should let me know.

PS: it's working perfectly.
