However, if you are setting a standard for a work as low as cleaner, then a level of educational qualifications should be a vital requirement for someone aiming to rule over a country whose majority of it citizens are educated. Bola made it there cause of irregularities and malpractice in our electoral system.

For some reason tinubu is hiding his school history pre -chicago.

However, i do believe he had the full gamut of education. He did work for Mobil. Unless Mobil was taking in stark illiterates in the 1980s, he did work for them.

The man is making matters worse for himself by going out of his way to hide his pre-chicago history. As to why he is doing that, i don't know. The issue with Watergate was not the crime itself , but the coverup, to use an American example.

Someone should at least remember him, even if it's outside the country. If others cannot remember him , then it's safe to assume he was home tutored .

I really don't get it. My Secondary School has some prominent alumni, we have a Deputy Governor, House of Rep members, top businessmen, Nollywood actor, popular singer, etc.

My Uni has Rep member, senior military officer(s), etc.

They all know us and relate well with us. We attend meetings, AGMs, hangouts. All the time.

Afe Babalola is one of Nigeria’s greatest all time lawyers! Nobody can show you his alma mater or class mates from secondary school……why? Because he didn’t go to school. He studied at home and passed the external exams for admission abroad.

This was the norm in those days. Many did not go to school but studied at home. Many of Todays youth do not k ow what privilege they have that education is state sponsored and compulsory!

I think the fact that education is free explains in part why we are producing so many unintelligent graduates. If you had to struggle for your education, you’d work harder and be more focused.

Tinubu does not have Nigerian classmates because his parents could not afford to send him to school and he had to study on his own.

If anything it is a testament to his determination to pull himself out of poverty. Something to be admired not mocked!

That's how we kept talking about Buhari's WAEC certificate for 8 years, distracting us from the main issues of bad governance.

I suggest we focus on offline outreach and sensitization to let the people outside social media understand why they must vote right come 2027.
