BlueRayDick:That sharp turn would not need a “no U-turn” side over here, especially on a bridge. It would be expected that all motorists would know that it is unsafe and illegal to turn there. Only a roundabout or a designated lane for those making a U-turn would make sense there. |

Emaprince:Personally, I feel once there's a visible sign warning motorists the police have a right to arrest offending motorists. However, assuming everyone plying the road must know about the technicalities of that route without any warning sign is unfair. For example, there are roads in Lagos that are allows two-way traffic from morning till 3pm. Once it is 3pm, that road becomes a one-way and u will see LASTMA and taskforce effecting arrest once it is 3.01pm. The link bridge between Egbeda-Akowonjo and Agege-Dopemu is a classic example of this. There is a road sign at the start of the bridge warning motorists. Anybody arrested there have no excuse and I learnt LASTMA collects as much as 200k before releasing any arrested vehicle |

raumdeuter:The easiest way to identify a failure in governance is one who can only point at those who took over from him as evidence of his success. The failure that Lagos experienced under Tinubu's tenure, he has brought to the national scale...I trust am sha, when e tenure finish e go begin point e successor work as e own. |

Theflint1:Under Tinubu govt BRT was launched Under Tinubu govt in Lagos, LASTMA was established Under Tinubu admin IGR was increased greatly Under Tinubu admin as governor healthcare was prioritized, I still remember the Jigi-Bola scheme Under Tinubu admin as governor of Lagos RRS was established to partner police and reduce crime Under Tinubu as governor the Millennial schools were also established Tinubus successors are always praising his legacy and what he handed to them, Obis successors are always sending curses to him for being a terrible governor who had no vision |

BlueRayDick:I with you on this one. There is a traffic sign for literally everything here. There would be big sign on that bridge from the entrance of the bridge and the exact area where it occurs, especially, if the it has been observed that people are making turns that endanger lives. They would not leave it to the judgement of humans because not every one drives defensively. The municipality or City, depending on who maintains the road will install and maintain the sign. They may decide to put a light that allows for U turn or flat out ban it because that median doesn’t allow for safe UTurns. They can also extend the median further past the bridge to ensure no one is attempting a U-turn on the bridge which is dangerous by the way. The only issue I have is that, the sign was installed by citizens and not the appropriate authority that regulates traffic in Lagos (LATSMA, I believe). Consequently, road users may refuse to follow the sign because, it is not exactly backed by law. LATSMA or the appropriate agency that manages that road, need to put the sign and include violations, this way it is backed by law and penalties can be enforced. But I definitely understand why the citizens took it upon themselves to install the sign. Again, like I have always said, we have very weak institutions in Nigeria. |

raumdeuter:Most of the few that voted him have realised their mistake. The people supporting him now are either abroad, fellow crime gangs or bots |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Spy360(m): 4:24pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
donjazzet:Most of the people that advocate good governance through Peter Obi made the list. The Tinubu people filled the foolish list. Posterity judges justly |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Spy360(m): 4:28pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
raumdeuter:Tinubu is high on propaganda. I lived in Lagos during the Tinubu years. All what you have mentioned are in other words agberoism and a long straw deeped into Lagos State treasury. Tinubu is a gang lord. All he does in politics is fuel his Gang of Lagos. I mean all he does. To the extent that nothing but crumbs are left for the masses. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 4:46pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
Spy360:The few who voted him were enough to send Obi to 3rd place. No one abroad voted Tinubu, It was Nigerians who saw his administration in Lagos and wanted him to do the same to Nigeria They also saw the Obi admin in ANambra and said No we dont want that |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 4:49pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
Spy360:BRT that people take to work and back till date is agberoism LASTMA that clears traffic is agberoism Health centers is agberoism and ganglords RRS is agberoism and ganglord Millennial school is agberoism Yet all his successors hailed those and continued even did more while Obis successors are telling us he was a terrible governor whose investment in his personal business is worth next to nothing |

Roland17:Sorry to ask But is there a big sign to explain to road users on how to use roundabouts in the Obodo Oyibo? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by diggz: 4:54pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
izzou:Yes, I believe they have in most places. Generally, they put markings on the road as well as signs before a roundabout. |

BlueRayDick:Why didn't he wave it, abi he was chasing first class? All that stress for a one unit course? Never. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc2: 5:10pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:This is a regular occurrence na. I faced the same threat twice when in school. One lecturer was even going to intentionally fix his test for the time we were out of the school representing the school in a sports competition. I think the provost finally prevailed on him to postpone it by a week or so, but he didn't allow those whose attendance fell below the minimum requirement because of the sports trip to take the test. Another case of Nigerians been kind to themselves unlike the unfathomably wicked political leaders. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Roland17(m): 5:24pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
izzou:Oh yes, it is called a "Yield" sign. You will observe it as you approach the entrance of each road that make up the roundabout. If it is a high traffic round about, the Yield sign is observed a few 100 feet before you approach the roundabout, and at the entrance of the roundabout, that way you are prepared. |

BlueRayDick:Can a student decide to waive a course after you've failed it? Once you fail it you have to re-register and pass it |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 5:56pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:Forgot about that. It's been awhile. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 5:57pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
raumdeuter:If it's not a compulsory course, and it doesn't really have much effect on your GPA, then you can wave it. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:05pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
raumdeuter:Yes , u can waive an elective course if u have passed the total number of units required of you to graduate . Let’s say over 8 semesters , wrote different courses with cumulative units of 160. Some schools may allow you to graduate after passing 155 units by allowing u to waive some elective courses u failed . They hardly allow I waive compulsory courses except maybe the senate just approve special waivers for that graduating year |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:06pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
TemporaryHansel:That’s why students are always begging for at least 40 E ( Let my people go ) in compulsory courses |
