Footballers are paid by private football cubs, not government. What that man is saying in this context is right. How can someone serve for 35 yrs and get paid 2.8 naira. It is a travesty, a tragedy. It is death sentence for the officers. It should not happen to anyone.

Do we still have the right to complain when those officers compromise when they are supposed to be professionals?
