2024 WAFCONQ: Falcons coach invites Oshoala, Ajibade, others for Cape Verde clash

Super Falcons interim head coach, Justin Madugu on Monday unveiled his squad for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Cape Verde.

Top on the list of invited players are Barcelona Femeni forward, Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Dependable defenders, Osinachi Ohale and Oluwatosin Demehin as well as Toni Payne and Christy Ucheibe are some of the key stars invited by Madugu.

All the invited players are expected to report to the team’s camp between November 25 and 27.

The Super Falcons will host the Cape Verdians at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on Thursday, November 30.

The reverse fixture will take place in Praia on Tuesday, December 5.

The winner will earn a place at the 2024 WAFCON

Go make us proud the ladies! as for the super eagles, they better take responsibility for their recent poor performances.

This our female team will beat the Lesotho and Zimbabwe our useless agbaya men's team struggled against, we really need to disband the Super Eagles team and rebuild from the lesser known leagues around.
