People are earning from social media platforms through monetisation and others from Twitter now x and Facebook now meta AI and even Tiktok making some users on those platforms multimillionaires and others too earning from it.
Our own nairaland owned by one of us is using bots to chase everyone away.
No more freedom of speech as any little thing you are banned and what you have written deleted.
I was chatting with a friend of mine in UK who is also on nairaland and he told me he feels Seun now has other means he makes his money and does not really care about nairaland.
I told him I feel it's the blackman mentality of I have arrived.
Nairaland has turned to military zone keep off

The Bots that have taken away freedom of speech mostly and can't fathom what is right or wrong. Is that how Bots work in other social media spaces.

The Bots has taken the 'illusion' called freedom of speech and has replaced it with condition of speech.

The purpose of Nairaland is to create a space for structured, meaningful conversations , and that’s why it has its own rules and moderation.

As for the bots, they’re there to regulate harmful or inappropriate content which helps keep the forum a safe and respectful space.
