What a waste of public funds on something that can't add any value to the life of Nigerians, why give out such money in dollars while over 70% are struggling to eat daily. This is just high service nothing more.

No one said we shouldn't reward them but the ulterior motive is where we are pointing at. Tinubu IS DESPERATE for any form of achievement to cling to his administration.

It is too much! A primary school teacher earns #70,000 ($46) a month in this country. You are giving $100,000 to a player for playing for 3 weeks. What will the soldiers, police men and other military officers that receive lower than $100 per month say? Tinibu made a great mistake. Dollar is not our currency but for him to be doing everything in it is not fair to us.

You're the one wailing and mouthing off in my mentions. I gave my opinion, give yours and let that be that. If you think it's wise to gift almost 4bn to the team after they were already paid bonuses and salaries for the tournament, That's your cup of tea.
FYI, the wafcon tournament prize was $1m, everything Tinubu has given the girls is well over 3 or 4 times that amount. By comparison, Ivory coast won afcon 2023 and got $7m in prize money, and what was given to them was well within range of what the prize money could again.
