What about the POLICE,they have usurped the responsibilities of VIO and FRSC. I think the Law should clarify Police traffic responsibilities. They have turn motorist to daily source of income, abandoning their primary responsibilities. |

This guy's don't obey court order. Road safety has been instructed by the court to only operate on federal roads but they still operate on states road. Vio also have been banned from operating on The road, did the obey that judgement, definitely no. This judgement is another waste of time. |

What this nation needs is pure judicial reforms not all these puppet reforms that have no teeth when in the tide. |

"Lawful Justification" they said ![]() Good luck with anyone else relying on that judgement ...before Dem go determine what is or isn't "lawful Justification", you fit don rest for Kuje prison like 3 months ![]() If these law officers can't find anything to pin on you, they can just seize both you and the vehicle on suspicions of terrorism and hand you over to DSS for "further investigation" ![]() Best practice when dealing with these people is to be courteous, show them what papers they ask, and give them even if na two hundred naira when they ask for "anything for the bois" The Court won't be there to help you if they decide to waste your time with trumped up allegations ...before your lawyer go file case to enforce your right, irreparable damage may have been done to you.. Nigeria is far too rotten for anyone to gamble with his life in the name of "enforcing his human right"... |

Great judgement. This will surely drum sanity into FRSC. Let the case get to SC for the final nailing on FRSC's coffin. |

I hope they will comply. I know they won't. To them fellow Nigerians are just ATM Machine. Even where there is a Clear Cut Policy Statement, they won't comply. How many Times have we heard this from the Police IG about Searching Passerby? Phones? Luggage and bags? Have they stopped? Will they stop? |

You did the right thing bro, FRSC are so corrupt and unprofessional, what amaze me is that they don't even know how to do their jobs, me now I use my official ID to avoid unnecessary argument and waste of time from the so called FRSC dumb officers, but mind you they still have a lot of Good officers among them. I will not even talk about VIO those ones are the real Yahoo boiz. |

That's a good one. It is one thing to have the judgment, obeying the court is another thing entirely |

Great judgement. This will surely drum sanity into FRSC. Let the case get to SC for the final nailing on FRSC's coffin. Kudos to Dr. Emmanuel for filing the case. |

Just smiled. I wish they will even obey the court and pay that N10,000,000 to him. Shebbs, when you receive the money tell us, then we know they might stop seizing people's licenses and cars. But again, Nigerian system is not advanced yet. How do they enforce the payment of the fine they impose on you? Nigeria is wasted already, people like this man is just making concerted efforts to salvage it. |

Fine man, he is setting the records straight. Most times, many would choose the Nigerian way option but it deosn't pay in the long run. This pays as he has moved from instead of paying N3,000 to earn a cool N10,000,000. A fine investment. ![]() |

FRSC slayer of obedient drivers😂😂😂. One of the days I was driving my wife's car who was at that time a learner,so the L sign was in front of the car. They, FRSC officers waved me down my wife panicked and asked me to please stop. Our son was in the car two barely two years old. The FRSC officer approached me asked for the vehicle documents driver's licence which I made available. Not finding anything to hold us on he asked who the learner was I said my wife and then said it is an offence for a driver who already knows how to drive to use learner logo on the car that I ought to have removed it. They threatened to take the car to their office but I dared them to take it that they won't find it funny. I think their superior officer was sensible enough he ordered them to allow us go. Me I no dey stop for FRSC oooo, even my wife son get sense |

This is a welcome development as FRSC mostly target people at odd times of the day when one is traveling or has an emergency. Why would they have a check point at 6.00am in town on a Sunday while everyday they see vehicles that are unlicensed and unsafe plying our roads and fail to do anything. More of this please. |

Nigeria should fit in cameras into their vehicles to check these people. Especially VIO. Don't be afraid to charge them to court cos there are many precedence your lawyer will refer to in order to back your case. It's up to life 5 now in 10years. |

One thing is the law and court verdict. Another is for the lawless government agencies of Nigeria to obey the law. |

Good news. Based on this case law, can I file a case against FRSC for seizing my driving licence in 2009? I also need compensation for the stress, anxiety and inconveniences it causes me at that time |
