Nigerian First Class Governors

🟢Abia State: Alex Otti [Economics]

Out of 36 State governors only two finished with First Class in School.
I wonder what the others finished with.

A man that wrote many books,a Nobel prize winner and a professor at that is s not intelligent.

How do you measure intelligence
Re: Nigerian First Class Governors by Walai(m): 6:53am On Jul 29, 2025
Soyinka is not intelligent, he is just smart and good with words.
I have a late uncle that attended only primary school in the late 30's then but his queens English is top notch. You will think he spent all his life in England but he haven't been there before

An unintelligent person cannot be a professor, and a Nobel prize winner.

He's been sought after by renown universities around the world for lectures and research work.

An unintelligent person cannot do all these.

Nigeria don't always value what they have, they prefer to celebrate mediocrity

See bro, FYI, I am no 1 fan of Soyinka no matter what they say about him but I'm telling you that he is more smart than intelligent. His intelligence is average but he is smart. I hope you are aware he didn't graduate with first class or even second class upper?
I even prefer smartness over intelligence.

That is the standard we would have kept in the east, if the dangerous APC did not use both riggings and supreme Court funny rulings to impose misfits as governors all over the place. Check MI Okpara, Check Akanu Ibiam, Mbakwe, Ogbonaya Onu etc.
Nigerias brand of primitive politics is actually debasing the egalitarian igbo cultural standards

N wa for una here,

It is unfair to conclude that Soyinka isn't smart. I graduated with a 2:1 myself, and I can confidently say that my performance could have been even better had I not been heavily involved in extracurricular activities. Academic grades alone don't fully capture a person's intelligence or potential

Soyinka graduated with a second class upper. He even dispelled the rumours himself. Just search for it
