Do Not Insult Buhari In Eid-el-maulud, Christmas - PDP by willywasco(m): 10:51am On Dec 24, 2015
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) charges Nigerians to use this year’s Eid-El-Maulud and Christmas to offer special prayers for the unity and stability of the nation as well as recommit their individual and collective security and economic welfare into the hands of God.

The PDP said the special prayers have become essential as the nation is now, more than ever before in dire need of divine intervention, especially as citizens cope with the sudden hardship occasioned by poor management of the nation’s economy in the last seven months.

The party, in a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh on Thursday said the two important celebrations, coming at this trying time, offers the citizens an opportunity to put aside every political, religious and ethnic differences and unite against their prevailing common challenges.

“Nigerians across board have in the last few weeks been recalling the campaign promises made by President Buhari and the APC, particularly, their December 24, 2014 Christmas message wherein they promised several reforms and welfare programmes that will, in their own words, ‘begin to positively impact on the citizenry within its (APC) first few months at the helm, to such an extent that Nigerians will have a better Christmas celebration in 2015’.

“Whilst we understand the indignation, frustration and disappointments occasioned by the long list of unfulfilled promises and dashed expectations under the current regime (and justifiably so), we urge that Nigerians should not recourse to hauling insults on the President as such would not bring the succor they seek.

“The challenges we face today as a nation should not make us lose our dignity and demureness as a people. They should not make us miss the essence and meanings of Eid-El-Maulud and Christmas and the divine succor they bring, especially the assurance that there is always an end to every negative situation.

“The PDP therefore calls on all Nigerians to use the occasions to reflect on those things that bind us together as a nation; show love to one another and commit the nation into Gods’ hands, even as we charge the political class to be conscious of divine accountability in all their dealings

“On this note, the Acting National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, on behalf of the PDP National Executive Committee (NEC), wishes all Nigerians joyful Eid-El-Maulud and Christmas celebrations.

PDP cannot stop Nigerians from insulting that senile certificateless dullard president from Daura. Nigerians will keep on insulting him until he proves to us he's a man of integrity by doing the following:

1. Showing Nigerians his certificate. After all, he's now the Commander in Chief of Armed Forces so let him demand that his Certificate be found.

2. Properly declaring his assets publicly and not via verbal half truths. It's very simple, just publish the form that was filled at the code of conduct bureau. Also he should make all his cabinet members do same.

3. Improving the economy by creating jobs, equating the naira to the dollar and improving power generation.

4. Totally eliminating Boko Haram and bringing back the "abducted chibok girls"

Unless he does all these, Nigerians will keep on insulting him. If APC likes they can keep on calling Nigerians wailers or ekpas, that won't deter Nigerians ftom throwing more powerful insults on Buhari and his lieutenants

Look at them - trying to behave like gentlemen in the hope that it will endear Nigerians back to them.

You lot can insult all you like. The PDP and IPOB bots are free to vent vile vituperations all over the place. Baba doesn't know that you exist and he doesn't care. An Army General, a Former President, a 70+yr old man has seen it all. He won't bat an eyelid at your frustrated insults.

This proves PDP is just a drunk party out to INSULT the President with nothing useful to contribute to the Nation. If PDP had any self-respect left, they will shut up. Their gross incompetence left Nigeria in the mess it is now.

As if their insults has any effect.

They can hurl in as much as they like. It ain't gonna change anything.

As much as I am also eager to see the changes, I believe is only fair to give this administration a little time. A year from now, I think is a fair time to start assessing. But for now, keenly observing the insults.
